I don’t know where all the negative reviews are coming from, but our experience was great! The food was amazing, as well as service. House wine was great too, literally one of the best places to eat in Sintra.
I'm from Brazil and visiting Sintra, I was surprised by this restaurant in Vila. Excellent service, very cozy place, delicious food! I ordered Portuguese cod and a super 500 ml draft beer! Passing through Sintra, stop and enjoy a super place.
We were looking for a place to eat late in the day. We ran into Alcobaça that had options for all in our party but I really didn’t had great expectations for the food. We were all VERY pleasantly surprised with the food. We ordered the “Caldo Verde” and a few other things that were very good. We also ordered the “Bacalhau à Casa” (for 2 or 3 people) and it was simply delicious. Don’t miss that dish if you enjoy fish and seafood. A great unexpected experience.
