We came here for lunch after visiting Pena Palace. It was a little out of the way, but ultimately meant it wasn't super busy or touristy which I appreciated! We tried the toast with goat cheese and honey, tempura octopus tentacles and black pork belly, and enjoyed all of it! There was only one outdoor table and it was quite hot inside (as well as outside) which was my only hesitation.

Here you can get ultra delicious food at a fair price! All of this close to the tourist mile. I went here twice during my vacation because the alternatives just weren't there.
The puff pastry with apple and ice cream was extremely delicious!

Good traditional restaurant, friendly, efficient menu and cute setting. We ate really well. Our reservation had not been noted but they accepted it anyway, apologizing for the delay that it could cause and that ultimately there was no delay. Attentive, friendly and good advice team. We recommend. And make sure you book carefully because there are few tables available.

These minimalist-sized dishes are not a reflection of Portuguese restaurants. A mistake for tourists, not worth it.

Nice and good place to eat in Sintra.
As it is not on the main street and has a small entrance, it is not crowded with tourists like the rest of the places. The place is small and does not have many tables.
The food is very good. Good quality and very rich. I recommend the bras cod, which was delicious.
The waiters very attentive and friendly.
Certainly a highly recommended site.

They rescued my birthday. We had made reservations for another restaurant and after sitting at that restaurant for an hour with only water we left. It was after 10 pm and the hostess accommodated us and we didn’t go to bed without a great meal and great service. They are a prize if you’re staying in Sintra!

All the dishes were delicious. It starts to get crowded around 1pm, so we recommend arriving early.

Very good typical Portuguese food, very varied and of good quality. The place is small and it was hot. The staff are very friendly, fast and very professional. I recommend it

We were delighted with our experience at Romaria de Baco. The attentive service, the warm atmosphere, the dishes executed with love were delicious!! The cilantro soup was fabulous! And the wine list was extensive. This restaurant is a big favorite!
