“A really lovely late lunch/early dinner. Sat outside and had a great time. We got piri piri prawns, breaded cuttlefish, bruschetta, sautéed mushrooms, honey sausage - would recommend all of those! Sangria was great and we tried the port too. The service was excellent, very kind people and felt like a very authentic experience and opportunity to learn more about Sintra. It’s about 5 minutes from the station so ideal for the start or end of a day trip. Also, they have soft blankets if it feels a little chilly. A highlight of our holiday and a meal we won’t forget!“

“This slightly hidden place has a lot of vegetarian options and a few vegan options, the prices are fair especially considering the touristic life of Sintra. “Briliant! As owner says 'Everything we serve we would serve to our family.' Salada de Anchovas was brilliant. Bravo potatoes out of this world. A hidden gem. I feel sad watching the people pass by,this place is so good. Thank you Casa Merocos. Perfect last night in Portugal.“

“A fantastic experience through the flavors of Peru. The cheviches were very good but for me the Causas, both the octopus and the shrimp were spectacular, I really enjoyed them and to finish the sweet 3 leches was divine, not to be missed. We really liked it“

“For dinner we ordered some ham croquettes, some garlic prawns and a picaña, and we couldn't say which was the best choice. The owners 100/10, impeccable. He tells you places to visit, events that are happening these days, everything. Highly recommended and a pleasure to meet you. We'll be back soon!“

“Espaço pequeno mas acolhedor e com música ambiente. Os funcionários sempre prestáveis e atenciosos. A comida era saborosa. De entradas comemos o couvert de banana, milho frito e molho de abacate com picante q.b. e as empanadas. Para prato principal fomos para os ceviches. e como sobremesa o bolo de 3 leites. Uma experiência boa e a repetir.“

“I am from the table of 8 that Gema criticized in the previous review. We ate wonderfully, the service was great, coming from a very nice older lady, who treated us with humor and hospitality. It is true that she does not have much space and space is limited, so I recommend booking in advance. The food is spectacular and made to order on the grill. 100% recommended.“

“It’s a tiny place in Parede. The burgers are excellent. My burger was cooked perfectly and juicy and the fries were also top notch. The service is great too. It’s not going to change the world and I still have to try the other menu items. However they do what they do really well with great food and friendly service.“

“Restaurant run by an elderly couple who speak little to no english. No worries if you are happy to work around this - we ordered with a little bit of pointing and sign language. Both people were lovely! We ordered a seafood grill and bacalhau con natas both good and came at reasonable time. Beware there are no card option here“
