Best meal I've had in Portugal. Beautiful fish, wine and desserts. Great atmosphere both outside on the terrace and inside the main restaurant. Very friendly staff willing to give recommendations. Accommodated my request to eat outside even late in the evening. Absolutely fantastic. Will eat here again.

Absolutely delicious food - one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommend the prawns and the steak, though you’ll need to be rolled down the hill afterwards you’ll be so full!

Our tour guide left us on this side of town for lunch during our Sintra tour. We climbed over the hill and stumbled upon a beautiful restaurant. The food was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Although I'm not usually a fan of potatoes, the ones they served were wonderful. Our waitress recommended the Beef Wellington, one of the best we had ever had. The fish fillet was also fresh and tasty, with a hint of salt that made the dish delicious. We chose to sit outside to people-watch and enjoy the fresh air. However, the ground was angled and less comfortable than we had hoped. Despite this, we enjoyed the food and service, which made our lunchtime experience enjoyable.

Sintra has many tourist traps, this restaurant is one of the better options. A historical place and there are many traditional dishes. A reservation is a much.

No need to say anything. It's bittersweet honey hemp. Koreans must go there. It is the number one restaurant in Portugal. I even signed up for a Sintra tour to get here. Even the desserts are perfect. One serving of rice is provided per menu item. This is a place where you can feel the chef’s expertise.

Everything was good from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Unfortunately the menu lacks precision on the ingredients used. Fortunately I have no food bans which allowed us to swap dishes. Despite everything, our 2 dishes were very good because we had to switch. More information on the type of meat and certain ingredients would have allowed me to give it 5 stars.Vegetarian options: Didn't see any vegetarian dishesDietary restrictions: No indications on the map unfortunately

Tacho Real was absolutely delicious. I got the fried cod dish, and other members of my party had sea bass and the partridge puff. The puff was, in everyone’s opinion, the best. However everything we had tasted good and the price was fair. The old swords on the wall contribute to the rustic ambience. Overall, I would recommend Tacho Real for dinner.

The customer service was very rude. Waiters didin't spoke much and they are not friendly at all. Some very basic things were so lost of them. Words like thank you, you're welcome etc. They were so silent and looked deprresed about their job.I understand that it can be sometimes difficulty speak foreign lanquage etc. But still you can even try more. Smiling is easy way to start.Only good thing was food. Nothing speacial but pretty okay.

I haven’t been wowed by the vegetarian food in Portugal but the leek a bras here was unreal. So much flavor and traditionally a codfish dish but with leek instead. The sangria was delicious and refreshing. A cute and quaint restaurant to stop at when exploring sintra.Vegetarian options: A separate section of the menu has vegetarian options listed
