Place with wonderful food and excellent service! We had the great pleasure of being attended to by Rui who gave us a class on wine. My dish suggestion is octopus, incomparable to any other dish I've ever tasted.
Well, what a wonderful find in the middle of Sintra. The outside deck was perfect and the Toasties was tasty and the wine delicious. BUT…..PEDRO, is a treasure to Portugal and to this Taverna. The best waiter ever. He’s as funny as Bill Hader on Saturday Night Live and looks like him too. We’ll definitely go back but only if Pedro is there. Go for the wine and food but stay for Pedro…..so funny.
Thank you for your kindness and good work!! We visited Sintra last Saturday, after visiting its palaces we were quite late for lunch at 4:00 p.m., no one wanted to serve us, totally understandable, when we arrived at the municipal tavern and saw our hungry faces, they served us even when they were at the closing of the establishment, just for that reason it shows the human character of its members, the food is delicious and tasted great to us, thank you very much
