The vegan sandwich was nice ( my non vegan husband also really liked it)and the service was great! Didn't find it too salty at all like some comments said. The restaurants own beer (IPA) was also good! Updated from previous review on 2025-06-12
There’s one option - the seitan burger which is really awesome. Seitan, onions, lettuce on a soft bun. Really tasty and warm on a winters day. Good for a small town with limited choices. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-30
The taste of soy sauce dominated the seitan sandwich. Wouldn’t really recommend.
It's not amazing for vegan/vegetarian people. The seitan was ok. The bread not my thing.. very powdery and dry.
Very small place, food was average, portions very small, friendly service with a smile. One shouldn’t expect too much I guess.
The only vegan option they had was dry and simple. Seitan was just okay, but why do they have only one vegan option if they make seitan by themselves? Only seitan, a half cherry tomato, onion and a salad leaf inside a dry bread. No sauce.
It is odd to review a small restaurant off the beaten track in a tourist location, but our experience following an exhausting hike in Sintra was so good I wanted to comment. First, the service was exceptional. The server (manager?) was constantly looking for service opportunities whether it be replenishing drinks or taking orders. And there were no lags in service. Also, the food was really good. We both ordered steak sandwiches along with some beers (the stouts were great) and were shocked how good the food was. We had spend nearly two weeks touring Spain and the Portugal...and remarkably this little spot was in the top few locations we ate at. Go figure...and go there if you are in the area.
The place is little, cosy, very nice, the seitan sandwich was tasty as well, i would recommend it.
Great service and very welcoming, delicious food. The cod and pork sandwiches were great, along with the beers. Highly recommended!
Stopped here while touring through the village. Have to say that these guys working here are very rude! I know they have to deal with many tourists but they make a lot of money off them.Any ways avoid this spot. Many other great places to eat than here!

A good salad and nice place to enjoy a lunch. Very nice and friendly people are working in this restaurant.
Undercooked food, a “faulty” card machine forcing us to pay cash (which they only told us after eating),And none of them speak Portuguese. It might be cheaper than surrounding places but you get what you pay for. Can’t recommend to anyoneEdit: i read more reviews and the owner seems to be very cocky and rude to other reviewers. Especially when someone mentions that the only option for water is 2,50 euro bottles of 25cl water. When they say they’re disappointed that theres no tap water the owner claims it’s disrespectful to serve in Portugal (which it’s not) and says “if you don’t like our country don’t come here”. This last point seems to indicate he cares for his country yet none of the staff even speak Portuguese so clearly he can’t even be bothered to pay his own countrymen. All in all, a cocky rude owner lying to people leaving negative reviews

This place is absolutely terrific and terrible everyone in my family was disgusted dissatisfied and disappointed the food was expensive non of there awards are deserved the food was really bad and so was the customer service the employees were arguing with us there was a single cherry tomato in my wife's salad and my chicken felt like bitting into rubber and it tasted really bad The drinks got to us 7 minutes after we ordered and my coke was Lukewarm
It was sooo good! Food was delicious -both starters and main dishes. We also took the craft beer (pale ale) they make especially for that place. It was pretty good! The waiter was very friendly, smiling and joking with us. Great experience!
