“We stopped for a drink here, was slightly more expensive than other places we stopped but it is on a sunny corner where the cruise ships dock! The toilet is tiny with no seat, but clean. I encountered a few toilets like this on our visit!!! The snacks inside did actually look lovely.“

“The restaurant is located beside the main street and there is enough place to park the car. We stopped there at noon after we had visited the “Mosteiro de Santa Maria de Salzedas, which is at about 10 km from the restaurant. It is a large house, very nice and very clean, the staff is very friendly and the service is more than ok, you can enjoy here various grilled dishes, and at the same time enjoy the panoramic view over Tarouca. “Ate there twice, one lunch and one dinner. The service is nice and professional.The food is great, very tasty like a gourmet restaurant,the vegetarian risotto was excellent. Wine list is a big deal there,it is like a book and all the wine ceremonies are a bit too pompous to my taste and at the end when you order a glass they serve about a quarter of the glass. Over all it was nice and tasty but way too expensive for what you get .“
