For many years, the dessert of choice every day this holiday week was at Muxagata. Not only because of the quality of the ice cream, but also because of the friendliness of the staff. During these long years I have taken many friends there, as I have recommended it to everyone I know. For the first time this year, our experience was disastrous. The service was the worst, antipathy and the bad manners of the staff are extreme. Not to mention that the quality is not the same as it used to be. The poor service caused by the employee, instead of serving the normal quantity per glass, reduces it to the ridiculous point of not even a full scoop being served per taste. We went there twice this year, the first time we thought it was bad luck, but the second experience was just as bad, making it the last one for sure. It is regrettable that employees can destroy something built over so many years in a short period of time.

They usually have around 1-3 options of vegan ice cream, just ask for ice cream without milk or eggs

I am leaving this 1 star review for service because I went to this establishment at around 7:05 pm and the employee refused to serve us as we were the only people in the queue and served the person in front of us. . I repeat, we were the only and last people in line. The employee's response: come back at 8pm as I'm on my break. Ok, it's respectable and understandable, but beyond the way I said it, I think that the fact that we are the last people in line and have served the person in front of us shows very little professionalism and good will. This was always my favorite place in Tavira but from now on I won't be going back.

The ice creams are really excellent, but the staff's dislike spoils the experience. On my last visit, the employee was, for the second time, quite unfriendly and showed bad will, she even spoke rudely just because I asked about the flavor of an ice cream. This is unfortunate as it affects the desire to return. I suggest customer service training to improve interactions with customers and ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.

The ice creams are incredible whenever I spend my holidays in the Algarve I go to Tavira just to eat these ice creams (I recommend the salted peanut flavor).?

Above average prices for tasteless tradicional ice creams... ice cream all taste similar and flavours are not so obvious when you eat them We ordered those traditional flavours from algarve but all taste similar Owner and staff somehow rude and harsh with customers

Really delicious artisanal ice creams! I tried the Amarena, the texture was very creamy, it was delicious! There is a large selection of scents that can satisfy everyone's wishes!
