Food was amazing, great pricing, and great place overall! Everyone was very nice and attentive!

We've been around 10 times at this restaurante because it is for us one of the best regarding portuguese cuisine. The menu has portuguese dishes, but made modern. You can be sure to find fresh and hand picked ingredients in well prepared dishes. I recommend Peixinhos da Horta as a good starter and the Octopus main dish (but any other is nice as well). The service have always been great and we were never disappointed.

Velense is a highly-recommended restaurant serving modern Portuguese cuisine. The menu features dishes made with fresh, hand-picked ingredients. Standout options include Peixinhos da Horta as a starter and Octopus as a main course. The service is consistently great, and prices are reasonable. The house tinto is a good value at 19€. The Sangria is also a highlight, and the location near the castle is a bonus.
