I experienced a series of inappropriate attitudes on the part of the owner of Quinta do Fincão that had a very negative effect on my experience and that of the majority of customers.
1. During service, the owner rudely and disrespectfully criticized the waiters in front of the customers. This attitude not only humiliated employees but also made customers uncomfortable. He should have spoken in private, respecting the dignity of the workers.
2. The owner removed the dishes from some tables without even explaining why and without apologizing to them. Customers expected attentive and respectful service, but these actions compromised the farm's reputation.
3. The owner, in a rude and embarrassing way, raised his voice during payment, criticizing customers by saying that he only accepted payments in cash and did not return change, which was an unacceptable and dishonest practice, which led to unnecessary discussions.
4. The owner was refusing to issue the invoice on time and criticized the customers who requested it. For this reason, it led to a very heated discussion that once again could have been avoided if the owner had had a more respectful attitude.
Positive points: Despite these huge problems, it is fair to mention that the food was reasonable and the staff were friendly and attentive.
I'm sorry, because of the owner I can't give more than 1 star, because what happened was unacceptable

June 2nd was my son Gonçalo's first communion
We were super happy with the service at Quinta do Fincão!!
Lots of variety of starters, very good food and lots of quantity, tasty desserts
In other words, everything 5*****
A big thank you ???? to Mr José who did everything to make it a memorable day and everything perfect
I recommend it 100% and I will definitely be back ??

This past Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, I had the pleasure of having my son's first communion this Thursday, congratulations on the service where I had people telling me that they no longer had a belly!! This is positive for the farm and for us who decided to hold the event here!

We had our wedding here, with absolutely nothing to complain about, with the friendliness of all the staff and with all the attention from the head of the room. Excellent service, very organized and above all a special thanks to Mr. José, for the attention and concern shown throughout the day, all the concern shown on the day itself and leaving us at ease so that our day was unique and special. I sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to make their day even more special. A thank you to all the staff members, especially Mr. José.

Poor quality food!!Good gizzards and chicken salad and mayonnaise too.Otherwise nothing special.Having starters served on a table only creates confusion and people often end up not eating because they don't feel like being on top of other people.Dinner served in small portions and without sauce (they didn't even ask if they wanted it or not), they didn't ask if they wanted to repeat it at most tables.The meat was not of good quality, or the cut was wrong. It was hard and not at all tasty. The potatoes looked like they had been cooked the day before and reheated. Terrible. I couldn't even eat.Dessert table with very little quantity. It was unacceptable when I told him at the meeting that I liked desserts and asked if I could bring some from home because for me it was very important to have a lot of quantity and variety. The owner arrogantly says "you won't be missing anything". When the day arrived, many people said they didn't eat because they saw there was too little for so many people. That's why there are leftovers...2 guests said the owner was rude to them. My uncle was not served and when he caught his attention he says he responded with reason (which I believe because he responded that way to all the comments I made). Another guest complained that the meat was salty and he replied "you're the one who's used to eating it without salt".My daughter did not have the right to a baby seat. He always had to eat on his lap. I asked 3 times and they said that the chairs were at the other party but that they would see if they were free. It never came, even after the other party was over. Did they pay more?There was no separation between the groups. Guests from the other baptism came and went through the door on our side. They took souvenirs from my daughter's christening and I didn't have enough for all our guests. I know this is a situation that goes beyond the farm and depends on the common sense of the guests. But I believe that if there was a better division of space there wouldn't be this problem. There were children on my side who didn't have the right because the children on the other side came to get...The drinks. Terrible. The gins tasted like ice and tonic. The tables were not replenished. The 2 tables of my friends who had no problem ordering directly got away with it. Because there was no concern to see if the tables had drinks or to ask.Reduced staff. Whenever we wanted to order drinks there was no visible staff or they were busy running between parties.Bar employee. I had to be told 3 TIMES that I would pay for the extra drinks. Even after highlighting that it wasn't just gins (I never said it was just gins. And I'm sure of that). Very unfriendly. I even caught him charging my guests several times even after I told him to point out everything that was extra that I paid.Of course I understand that they had been working for a long time. And they had 3 parties on the same day. But we also paid and had very bad service. And the party was in APRIL, not at the peak.Conclusion: at so many parties that I go to, we need to drink water from the rocks and get out because we are in a bad mood due to eating too much. This one didn't happen. We don't go hungry. We didn't eat too much because neither quality nor quantity allowed it, and those who danced the most even had to go to Mac at the end.2 stars. Because the space was beautiful and clean, the Brazilian employee was friendly and the DJ I hired livened up the party and made it possible to forget a lot.But if you are wondering, there are other options at the same price or cheaper and with MUCH better quality (Vianinha, Casao). From us the first and last time.

On 10/14/2023 my son PEDRO was baptized... what can I say about this place? Everything 5 stars! Good service, delicious food. The farm is located on a slope that gives us the privilege of looking at the Sea and the Mountain!Simply spectacular!Thank you to the entire team that was there and especially to Mr José, for his availability and his commitment to ensure that everything ran 100%.Well Haja!
