We had an amazing evening dinner at Solar do Perceve. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the seafood and selection of good wines. Lovely local atmosphere—familial and typical restaurant in the heart of the village. Friendly and excellent service. Highly recommended for people who want to have a Portuguese flavor!“

“Everything went pretty well! The restaurant is close to the center and is a quiet and clean place. The food, classic Portuguese, was quite good and the prices were well suited to the dish. The waitresses were very friendly and smiling. Very cozy, indeed!“

“We loved the place. We ordered fried brunette, a pork stew and grilled squid. Everything was delicious, and the attention of the waitress, I think her name was Paula, was great. Furthermore, I have to highlight how well they behaved, because when paying, the card did not pass and we had to pass it again. Until then, everything was normal, but after a while, when I checked with my bank, the payment had been made twice. We returned and they refunded our money without any problem. We kept the phones in case something happened and two days later the owner called me telling me that he had only charged it once. I had double charges in my bank. After speaking with my bank, I sent them proof that the two payments had been made, and without a problem. Thank you very much for the treatment and patience to the owner of that place. If we return to Vila do Bispo, we will definitely return. We have been delighted with the treatment received.“

“Grill restaurant with local and fresh products. Very good quality meats, not to mention the fish and the small market they have right when you enter the restaurant. You ensure fresh fish of the day cooked on the grill. Very attentive and helpful service looking for solutions so that the wait is minimal before sitting down.
The decoration is quite faithful to Portuguese traditions.

From the dishes: starter with grilled chorizo, to eat: delicious frango, the camarao skewer a delight and the meat spectacular. We tried rib eye with pepper sauce, spectacular. Perhaps it could have been accompanied on the plate but to put something to improve.
And we chose red wine from Alentejo, with a pretty good quality-price ratio.
It's not the first time we came but it won't be the last either!“

“Fantastic dinner last night at Bombordo, with wonderful service, can't wait to go again. Had amazing fried prawns, perfectly cooked in one of the best sauces I have had in The Algarve. Great salad and perfect fries, my all time fav dinner - I was super happy, thank you Bombordo :-)“

“Large indoor dining room, plus ample parking and also has a terrace but with the air that we got into our bodies visiting the fortress we preferred to eat inside.

We tried the fish soup, the legume cream, garlic prawns and mackerel salad (all very delicious) and to finish we tasted the octopus rice that came with a bunch of cilantro on top that gave too much of its flavor to the food and It spoiled it a bit (the quantity and price were very good, yes).

We took 1 bottle of wine, 2 of water, 4 beiraos and 3 coffees to pay 30 eur x four full stomachs.“

“Be careful what you ask for.The grilled vegetables are like a golden cod but without cod and they fill it with onion... Take care...Also the grilled cuttlefish, it's more of a battered nugget than anything else. They charge you for everything... Almost even for breathing.I leave it there... You will see...“

Food was fresh, delicious, plentiful and the vegan ate three different meals. The owner was great at offering additional meals and the whole team were attentive and friendly. Great value for money!“

“We had dinner there whilst on holiday. It's a very nice family run restaurant. We all loved our food. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked as requested (medium rare) and was one of the best ones I have ever had.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
They produce their own wine, we bought two bottles to take with us.

“Arrived by chance without a reservation, but was warmly welcomed and looked after. Very friendly and courteous service, almost family-like. Nice atmosphere, very good food. We have rarely had such good fish (sea bream) and steak (ribeye), especially not for the price. A visit is highly recommended, we would be happy to come back.

“Very nice service, we had (since the squid salad was no longer in stock) boiled shrimps (nothing special but ok) a wonderful mixed salad and the fish cataplana which was also decent, well made but also kept very simple. House wine was ok.Price is rather cheap ?“

“Very small restaurant, it has a grill outside where they prepare both meat and fish on the grill. Delicious tuna, spectacular sea bass, to name a few, but the white house wine is better than beer?. You can't pay by card like in many places, I don't understand why.“
