Very good food and service! A great representation of a typical Brazilian restaurant

Rio Sampa is a good option if you are looking for a cozy place to have dinner. The food is typical Brazilian and very tasty. We loved the cheese bread, it was the best I ever tried. For the main dish we chose the hamburgers which were good but I think they were just lacking a biiiit more flavor (maybe more spices or sauce or something) and potatoes (the rustic ones were so good). For desert we had churros which were tasty too. Will definitely return to try more food form their menu.

The starters are good and quite original. Catupiry doesn't look like Catupiry at all. The feijoada was ok, but with a lot of fatty pieces, almost no loin or sausage. The stroganoff tasted sweet, probably made with cheaper ketchup. The burgers are reasonable, but not really worth the price you pay.

We had lunch at Rio Sampa and it was a great experience. The menu offers traditional Brazilian dishes. We ordered the tropeiro beans and the mixed barbecue, both very tasty and well seasoned, in addition we ordered the potato with bacon and cheddar which was delicious. The service was impeccable, the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was cozy and well decorated. The location is also great, facing the sea and with parking available. We will definitely be back!

The only place in Portugal where Brazilian food really pleased me every time I went! I have always received good service and everything I have eaten to date has been excellent! The only criticism I have is that the last time I ate it I noticed that there was less meat in my order, but that wouldn't hurt me to stop going there! And I'll even celebrate my birthday soon!Great food

Garson is extremely rude and without a shred of patience. We had already gone on another occasion and the experience was not good at all, we decided to give it a second chance and it was definitely not worth it. There's no point in the food being good and the service being horrible, be more welcoming and friendly. Even though we sat on the terrace and only ordered drinks, Garson's job is to serve customers with politeness and friendliness, as we were poorly served, we didn't order anything else because what was stopping us was that Garson was doing us a favor. In terms of food, as I mentioned at the beginning, we had already gone for dinner a few weeks before and the experience was not good. Slow service, Garson in a bad mood and slow delivery of food. When a customer criticizes you and you don't like it, the least you can do is apologize and try to change instead of finding the reason why, so who knows, maybe customers will come back. Congratulations and good luck for your business.

Terrible service, the food is not worth what you order, I came here for the second time and the experience was even worse, in other words I don't try anymore, not to mention that the attendant still argues with the customers, I got a response, which still didn't work. it will be worth nothing because the problem is that I don't think they realized that you shouldn't work that way, at least here in Portugal and whenever there are rules like that where the client can't do this or that, it should be explicit although I've never seen it before. only in Portugal and in other countries that I have visited, by the way, the waiter on the 2 times I was there, was indifferent to our presence and adamant about not worrying about whether the customer was well served, well, I understand, too. I don't like this type of work so I never took the risk, I preferred to follow my field, but believe me, I've been living here for 25 years and the way they do it doesn't go very far, they may even have good food, but that just doesn't make loyal customers. And I stand by everything I said before, I won't go back and I won't recommend it.

I called this restaurant at 7:50 pm to place an order and told the person who served me that it would take 20 minutes to get to the establishment, I arrived at the parking lot and the person who served me made the payment without saying anything and continued walking backwards to forward in the room until 10 minutes passed after the 20 that had been said and I asked what was said by the same person who would have to wait an hour as he has a room to attend.Since a normal person who doesn't just see €€ in front of their eyes would say “but look, 20 minutes isn't enough” he didn't make me come to the store to pay and only later when I got tired of waiting and asked did he tell me You would have to wait 1 hour, food is good but professionalism is terrible

I was positively surprised by this restaurant! Everything was delicious, with excellent quality and the atmosphere was relaxing, with very pleasant background music. I ordered chicken drumsticks and cheese balls for starters and they were both crispy and tasty. For the main course, I recommend the termite and picanha, which were wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates Brazilian food!

We arrived for lunch on Sunday at around 1:45 pm and the waiter informed us that we could place the order but it would have to be brief due to the closing time. We wanted to order some starters and then order lunch, but without success we only ate a pastry and a piece of fish!!Since it is called a Brazilian restaurant, I believe it left something to be desired in terms of good service and friendliness, which are hallmarks of Brazil.
