“I arrived on a Sunday at 1pm with 40° outside. It was busy but I convinced João (owner) to wait at the counter near the entrance. He went to see some meat to be grilled and we chatted and drank something cool. We sat there for another 40 minutes and enjoyed a wonderful grilled black pork. To finish with a coffee accompanied by the smell (Medronho). If possible, I'll be back soon on my next trip to the Alentejo that I love so much!“

“Stopping for some respite from the blazing sun on the bicycles this was an inspiring occasion. Lovely cold beer and a jarro of vinho branca complemented the best grilled fish we had in Portugal.
