“This place is very busy on the weekends, but the food is delicious, the service is fast, and it has a very natural atmosphere. It's a very local place as far as we understand and the staff speaks good English. Barbecued fish, calamari and shrimp were very good.“

“BBQing Gaia stands out for its friendly and efficient service, with a wide variety of skewers. However, some cuts could have better quality. The place is a little cramped, but cozy and well decorated.
With adjustments to the meat selection, it could become an even greater reference. I recommend it for the pleasant experience and attentive service.“

“Fresh food, prepared in a simple but very tasty way. We ate the squid and the grilled sea bream, both finger-licking good. Also the sautéed vegetables, which were not bad. For dessert we ordered cream of heaven (Natas do Céu), a kind of Portuguese-style tiramisu, with layers of cream, biscuit and pastry yolk, which was also delicious.“

“The classic Portuguese family style meal. Everything comes with bones and shells and you have to clean it yourself but it’s all cooked to perfection over their outside grill. Really good food. Also tried all the desserts and theyare all noteworthy.“

“Super pleasant, friendly staff and very quick to dispatch orders, with all the care taken. The grilled meats arrived home hot and were very well packaged. I accepted their suggestions regarding quantities and they were really right, there was food left over. I've repeated the experience several times and have nothing to say.“

“Near our accommodation, you could walk past it and not notice. Popular with the locals, always a good sign. Great waiter, spoke excellent English to explain the menu. We had 1/2 mixed grill of chicken, pork ribs, steak etc with chips, rice, salad, beans. Olives and bread, housewine. Chocolate mousse and Pudim Frances ? with coffee to end came to just under 50 euros. Very pleased.“

“Restaurant always full, especially at lunch.
Very well prepared table, being welcomed by the owner is an added value, especially when he himself chooses the dishes for the customers ;)
It was a very pleasant lunch.
I recommend booking!“

“1 serving is enough for four. Tender, juicy and superabundant meat. Anyone who likes francesinha should try this giant variant.
Kid-friendliness: Several tables were occupied by an adult and two children/teenagers. 1/2 dose arrived and left.“

“The fish dishes are superb.
Beautiful prawns on a skewer.
Sardines beautiful and delicious.
It was very busy when we were there, but that was also with Sao Pedro.
There are also meat dishes, but I advise against them.
I had the veal steak .
The steak was beautifully pink.
But no salt or pepper.
Had fries with it, but also without salt.
It came with dry white rice and a fried egg with runny yolk.
In terms of creaminess and sauce, this was the only moist thing on your plate.
So a bit of a dry bite.
I ordered mayonnaise and salt to make some more.
We also ordered white wine but it did not make it to the table.
It was on the bill.
But it is so difficult to do so that it can be removed again.
Be careful in Portugal when you enter somewhere they put something to eat on the table. A snack or a sandwich.
This is not hospitality but you have to pay for it and the price is usually around 6 to 8 euros..
So if you don't want to pay extra, refuse.“

“If you are looking for a balance between quality and price, this is the right place.I never ate there so I can't comment on its atmosphere or decoration, since I always did take away. Its mixed churrasco is excellent and very well served, although its rice is not the best.Quick service and friendly staff.“

“We went once again, they took a long time to serve us, despite us always calling to book a table. We went with another couple, and it was a disappointment, the Portuguese stew was practically returned in one piece. One scene that no one can escape from is drunk customers. A couple put on a sad and frightening spectacle, but they still laughed and continued drinking.“

“You have good comments regarding the service, however I don't agree... the waitress left us for about 20 minutes without taking our order, the head waiter had to arrive to take it... the same one, the head waiter , without a bit of patience to explain to those of us who don't know Portuguese food, another waitress with a disastrous attitude when charging.
Maybe they were already tired or had a bad day (and Portugal beat Turkey 3 to 1) and I understand it, but the diner and much less the tourist expect treatment like that even if the food is delicious and the price is very affordable.
I will definitely return, but not for the service but for the quality of the food.“

“I ended up here by chance and it was a great surprise!
Impeccable service, wonderful food!
We ordered sardines, a sea bream and squid and shrimp skewers!
Everything is WONDERFUL!!!!
And finally we ordered a creamy milk from the Gods!
In short… I will always come back!
Everything very good!
And detail without queues!
Mrs. Suzete is very friendly, we were welcomed by her and immediately attended to... the fact that there was no waiting line and orders were answered immediately made all the difference!

“I don't know the physical space Grill Coimbrões, as I always opt to order on Uber Eats, and I highly recommend the food, it's delicious, the portions are quite generous and the presentation and care are highly commendable as well. From what I understand, they belong to the same group as the barbecue restaurant at Ermesinde station, where I've had the pleasure of having a few meals and which I also highly recommend.“

“Great food, friendly staff, but at the end of the night, although the rest was still full and there was no one waiting for a table, the feeling was that they wanted to throw us out so many times they came to the table to lift glasses and plates and empty the rest of the food. drinks in glasses... I didn't like that part.
Parking: Too expensive...“

“We heard from the Social Media that the Chicken Piri Piri in Portugal is something that every tourist should try. We came to Porto determined to try one, but it's hard to find a restaurant that serves Chicken Piri Piri. We ended up having it at O Piri Piri, which is in Vila Nova de Gaia. We were amazed that the chicken were delicious and the fries also tasted great. I call tell that they were cut really fresh and fried. Another great surprise was that 2 whole grilled chickens, a serving of fries, a salad and a litter of Coka Cola only cost us 29€ and a change. What a Treat!
By the way, you have to tell the staff inside that you want a tabe to dine in, in order to be seated. Don't wait outside because the long lineup is usually for take out. ?“
