We came to buy wines directly from the barracks, but they treated us poorly; The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all and the people who were in the wine shop were not attentive or eager to help; There was also nothing new that was exclusive to the store other than the very expensive wines. We finally bought it and left, but I recommend going to a liquor store or supermarket.

Place attracts tourists and kids who want to get drunk. It certainly offers excellent offers (4 glasses with 4 chocolates for €15) but the quality of Port is not as high as that offered at wineries with visits and tastings. The explanation of the waiters is hasty and without passion. We noticed very noisy customers, especially young people with 4/5 glasses each in front of them. Not the right place to sit and relax and drink a single glass. Great place to have fun.

Unfortunately the receptionist did not want to assist us. We were going with a visit to the Duoro Acima cruise ship, where it says it is open until 7:00 p.m. We arrive at 5:30 p.m. and he asks us to please come back half an hour later because there is a large group, and he confirms that it closes at 7:00 p.m. After half an hour we go and they tell us that they close at 6:00 p.m. It would be crowded but it is not a good excuse to prevent us from entering.

A pretty nice location on the left bank of the Duoro river. You can get a particularly good view of the river and what's happening on the promenade in front of it from the roof terrace. However, it is not that easy to get a place here.

Excellent rooftop for a late afternoon in Gaia next to the Douro River. Good wines and unique views. Boys are recommended.
Great place to enjoy the view of Porto and the San Luis Bridge. Highly advisable. Try the Port wines from this winery. We liked others better, but this place is wonderful. Good attention. Unbeatable visits.
