The fish dishes are superb. Beautiful prawns on a skewer. Sardines beautiful and delicious. It was very busy when we were there, but that was also with Sao Pedro. There are also meat dishes, but I advise against them. I had the veal steak . The steak was beautifully pink. But no salt or pepper. Had fries with it, but also without salt. It came with dry white rice and a fried egg with runny yolk. In terms of creaminess and sauce, this was the only moist thing on your plate. So a bit of a dry bite. I ordered mayonnaise and salt to make some more. We also ordered white wine but it did not make it to the table. It was on the bill. But it is so difficult to do so that it can be removed again. Be careful in Portugal when you enter somewhere they put something to eat on the table. A snack or a sandwich. This is not hospitality but you have to pay for it and the price is usually around 6 to 8 euros.. So if you don't want to pay extra, refuse.
