Fantastic site. The dining room is spectacular, with beautiful views over the river. Super friendly waiters and incredible food. I ordered a cod that I almost didn't finish because of how big the portion was. The pity is that we just discovered this place the day before returning, since we had eaten in Porto every day, and since it was the last day we decided to eat at Gaia. A shame because on this side of the river it is cheaper and there are fewer people. When you arrive they offer you if you want an appetizer which is bread, pate and olives, we didn't ask for it. And then there is a photographer who offers to take your photo, which we also do not accept

The place is FABULOUS, terrace at the foot of the Duero, very large and spacious, the service was fast and attentive and very very friendly, the food was great, we made a pica pica based on tapas and everything was delicious, highlighting the garlic prawns, the price is basically the same throughout the area, I recommend it 100%

Looked like it was going to be amazing but fell far short. Not a good experience. If you do go make sure you get a table with a view, they put us in the back with zero view. If all else bad at least we would have had the view!
After seeing their response I now change to zero if possible. 90% of their tables have a view!!! As you can see they are quite rude. Avoid, food is horrible too, I didn't want to say in first review but after that response how could anyone want to go?

Perfect for a romantic dinner or with friends, relaxed. We had cod croquettes for dinner, the best I've ever tasted, a grilled sea bream, and a francesinha, perhaps the worst. The fries are also super good. The price is less than €20, very cheap compared to Spain or Italy.
