Reasonable food, horrible service. Differentiation of service in relation to foreigners. There are much better options in Vila real de Santo António

All about Nothing

Terrible service, you could hear screams coming from the kitchen. We ordered 3 dishes, one of which they told us was not available after bringing the other two.
We ordered fried razor clams (it was on the menu), they said it wasn't fried but was made with bolhão duck. It had a terrible flavor and was full of sand.
We do not repeat or recommend it.

They had fried mackerel on the menu but they didn't have it to serve
We ordered octopus a lagareiro. I've never eaten octopus so bad...hard...undercooked...ultimately a disaster

Good menu, nice staff. Have visited the restaurant twice and been satisfied both times. Will definitely visit again.

Avoid, food not bad but total ripoff in terms of prices.
Wine by the pitcher at the price of the bottle
1 cheese charged OK, but we had 4 small slices of 1 cheese left....
A shame
This little canteen has changed a lot before it was simple but good and value for money too.

We came on May 1 with 10 people without prior reservation, a little late I must say, and after the refusal of other places to serve us. Highlight the excellent attention of both the owner and the rest of the team. We ordered dishes from the center to share, finishing with an exquisite seafood rice. The prepared jugs of sangria came in that were delicious. And of course HIGHLIGHT the GREAT DETAIL of the team in the dessert for our friend's birthday. We left very satisfied, we will definitely return!!!

Disastrous food. Hard, unpalatable burgers. Seafood rice, sour, longuerones and berdigones only. Great starter (without ordering it), for €12. Never again.

Worst meal I have had in a very long time. Not worth the money, food ranged from raw to overcooked.

Awful! Don’t go here. No cooking involved. Everything overcooked apart from the prawn starter where a few prawns undercooked! I had to send my cod back and then they argued I just didn’t like it. Avocado with the salad was rock hard … any chef would never have sent this food out. Had to pay for the whole meal despite me sending my main course back. Please avoid this place if you appreciate good food cooked well!

Dorado was under cooked and some sections raw. Cuttle Fish was not edible. Soup was never delivered. Couvert was terrible.

A nicely located restaurant offering a good selection of dishes and good service. I had a traditional (apparently) Sunday lunch called Cozido Portuguesa that was enought food for two people. Huge ammounts of vegetables, half a cabbage, potatoes, greens and, I think chu-chu. A pile of mixed meat, chicken, beef, sausage and more. Unfortunately this was all cooked by boiling or steaming and so not to my taste really. I think I managed about half before giving up. However I can imagine this might appeal very much to some. It also came with a dish of rice and beans on the side. My partner had squid in the Algarve style which involved large ammounts of garlic. She loved it! Our waiter was very attentive and spoke English well.

The worst place you can eat in town. The food was bad, they had hardly any gender, and the attention was conspicuous by its absence.

The last time I was there changed my opinion about this restaurant, which I had spoken so well about, because there were not many of the things advertised on the menu and, furthermore, it took them more than an hour to serve us. To make matters worse, after that hour they told us that one of the dishes ordered was not available. I don't know how to eat badly and it's not expensive, but it lacks service and efficiency.I'm sorry

Great service, available and friendly staff. We loved the food, well prepared and served in quantity that left us very satisfied. And we will come back one of these days! It is recommended for its general quality.

Parking: There are plenty of places nearbyto park. However, in summer the same cannot be said as the influx of tourists is large.
