Super tasty little cafe! Even though we couldn't speak the same language, their cakes and bread were top-notch. Coffee's great too—cheaper and better than in the UK. Definitely beats fish and chips by a mile!

Recommended by a resident of Vila Real, we walked through the door of this restaurant and did not regret it.
Friendly welcome upon our arrival.
We were seated nicely and despite the language difference the explanations were very clear and given with patience. Between English, French and hand language ?, they explained to us that the €9 menu included starter, main course, coffee and drink. What more could you ask for: a small dessert for €3. About ten pastries and ice creams await us. So we ate for €24 for two in a very nice atmosphere.
The starter remains the same, soup then your choice of fish or meat served today with fresh vegetables (cabbage and carrots) and baked potatoes.
A map is also offered.
We did not regret our choice.
I think it is best to book because the room fills up quickly.
Bon appetit to those who pass through the door.

‌Very good quality at a honest prices, €17.35 for everything in the photo, I exaggerated a little because I was expect ing smaller portions. There was a bit of confusion in the service, but the place was very busy, so I can understand it. I highly recommend it for vegetarians like me, I came out from the lunch quite happy and full.
