Great restaurant, air-conditioned room...and very warm welcome.
We had a great time with my friends in this restaurant facing the entrance to the Palais de Madeus, the welcome is very warm and friendly, the menu is made up of quality regional products and the dishes are excellent just like their Porto Blanx who is a marvel…. I recommend
Remarkably warm welcome, the food is very good and generous. And the prices are as sweet as the welcome.
Good place to eat in front of the Mateus Palace. Good quality at good prices.
Magnificent attention. I recommend.
Good cuisine, small disappointment however with unannounced billing for appetizers
The place smells like food, it took them 40 minutes to serve us a pasta salad and a puff pastry and they served the table that arrived later before us (with almost no difference in what was ordered). I think we haven't been lucky. I hope this review helps you improve.
A pearl on the outskirts of Vila Real!
Starter started with some olives and toasted bread with olive oil and garlic accompanied by some beautiful olives.
Second of Bísari ham and a whole of avocadobe salmon. It should be noted that the restaurant strives for atypical dishes with a regional touch, for the most part.
Accompanied by an acidic rosé without going overboard, came an alheira and greens casserole with a very well-seasoned salad.
To finish off, a natural rooster comb with pineapple that will leave a good memory, at least until the next visit!
Recommended by a nearby fruit and vegetable seller, we let ourselves be guided. Good surprise, good quality cuisine, very good white wine to accompany a cod salad and other similar dishes. A boutique restaurant type exhibition decoration... No regrets!!
Excellent place and food!!! The best service you can find is close to perfection!!!
Popped in here for a drink after visiting Mateus Palace. Yummy sangria, great for people watching, wonderful waitress.

Great place for shopping, snacks or lunch
Very friendly attendant
Great wine I will be back
It's a very nice place with delicatessens and restaurants.
The young girl who welcomed us was very nice and very pleasant (she spoke French), her grandfather was also very nice.
Simple, efficient and hearty local cuisine.
The young girl had a lot to do, alone to serve the full restaurant, so a bit of a wait, too bad.
Otherwise, this restaurant is definitely worth a detour.
It is a wine and souvenir shop with three tables outside and a small dining room on the first floor. We ate rice with duck which is a dish that is missing something and a very good gratin cod. The service was very good and the prices are reasonable.
A sensational experience.
The Cod Gratin, which is the house specialty, surprised us.
It is certainly a place we will return to.
I was at this establishment on 7/4/2024, I was served a starter that the menu said was octopus with olive oil, onion and garlic sauce, when it arrived at the table to my surprise it was pota. There is a very big difference between pota and octopus, in terms of flavor, texture and color after cooking, I imagine how many people who don't know the difference have already eaten your "octopus with onion, garlic and olive oil sauce.I don't know if they are aware that it is illegal to sell a product saying it is another. The sirloin steak was good, the fries were very good, but the dessert was obviously not fresh and was probably more than 3 days old.Good friendliness from the employee.
