Excellent food, great value for money. I visited twice when I stayed at the hotel next door and greatly enjoyed both meals.
Decent experience at Amalgame. The food took a while with a larger group but servers were attentive. Standard pub fare but definitely hit the spot.

Amalgame pub urbain offers a unique concept with a Black rock experience that has impressed many visitors. The jerk shrimp starter was delicious, and the surf and turf is highly recommended, along with the ribs that were simply WOW! The atmosphere is perfect for dining with friends, featuring great music and excellent food. Guests can enjoy delicious options, including huge portions that make the prices worthwhile. The bar offers cheap but delicious cocktails.
Additionally, parking is available, although much of it seems to be for the motel. The fries, whether in poutine or on the side, are very good, while the forest burger, poutine amalgam, Caesar wrap, and fried chicken poutine received high praise. However, some dishes, like the nacho made with cheesy Doritos, were not as well received. Despite this, Amalgame pub urbain is a place worth visiting for its superb food and friendly staff, though some may experience a wait for their bill.
