Food quality has gone down a lot… mocktails not as advertised and not tasteful. Super disappointed, I used to love it here.

Baton Rouge has gone downhill. What was once a busy, vibrant spot where you had to wait for a table now feels tired and neglected. While the service was fine and the food passable, the state of the restaurant is unacceptable. The carpets are filthy, the tables are sticky, and the entire space feels dirty and outdated. It’s clear the place hasn’t been cared for in years. Sadly, this will be our last visit.

Bâton Rouge used to be much better. Now it feels rushed. I was served the wrong plate, and when I asked the hostess for the correct one, it was brought out still frozen and simply reheated. Overall, it was okay — not the best, but not the worst.

The best part was the New York Striploin.

Delicious baked potato too and grilled vegetables.

Had a good waiter called Jonathan.

Would recommend Baton Rouge. Report card: A+.

I never been to Bâton Rouge. Until I had my first date in your restaurant. It was a beautiful experience. The place is so charming. I ordered the shrimp linguine plate. All my compliments to the chef! It was delicious.

The workers were pretty nice but the lady who gave us our table wasn’t rude but had a bit of an attitude about us switching over to another table. The food was ok, the chicken sandwich was fine but the ribs were to sugary and a bit dry and the baked potatoes weren’t very tasty and the outer skin was so dry. I really wouldn’t recommend this place but that’s my experience yours can be completely different.

I’ve been to the Anjou location several times hoping that they were having an off night and thought it would be a better experience, but kept having bad experiences…tables felt sticky food was over seasoned and very poor quality… not one to complain but quality is on a downhill fast…used to be my favorite place for ribs but even that has decreased in size and quality…I will not be back and was very disappointed .👎

Absolutely unacceptable. When it came time to pay, I chose not to leave a tip due to the poor service which is entirely my right. But instead of accepting that, the server actually came back to the table with an attitude, demanding a tip like it was mandatory.

She stood there, waiting, pressuring me, and making the entire situation uncomfortable and embarrassing. I was in a hurry and didn’t want a scene, so I left 12% just to end the confrontation.

This felt less like a restaurant and more like a shakedown. Tipping is for good service not something to be extorted at the end of a bad meal.

While the food that I had was good, the ribs weren’t as saucy as I thought, unfortunately. I have had saucier ribs at various Bâton Rouge locations in the past, and I was kind of let down that the ribs I had when I came to this restaurant weren’t noticeably saucy. Granted, there was some obvious sauce on roughly half of the rack, but for a plate of Bâton Rouge ribs to be seen as deliciously saucy that would lead to Bâton Rouge’s social media accounts advertising the ribs as “BYOB: Bring Your Own Bib”, the whole rack needs to be obviously sauced. Maybe I could have asked for an extra barbecue sauce to be served to me as a dip that I could have then slathered onto the ribs to give me the sauciness that I wanted, but I was expecting a plate of one rack of saucy ribs from the moment I ordered them, not half-a-rack of saucy ribs.

Granted, the service overall was very good, my waitress was courteous and friendly, and I had a good time eating there with one of my longtime best friends. I would happily eat at this restaurant again!

ordered boeuf au jus and would not give meat to my dog..when we spoke to manager he was kind enough NOT to charge us for dusgusting plate of fat boiled meat ..that we did not eat..offered us a steak that had just as much fat and mashed potatoes full of lumps ..we went to have a family meal and all we did was argue with manager for 90 minutes and 1 of us did not even eat anything...i ate half my sinewed steak because i was hungry..i was a customer for years but not anymore..i guess that was reason why restaurant only half full on a saturday night..

Last Thursday we went to dinner for my friend's party, there were 3 of us. We ordered filet mignon but it was not cooked as requested, we informed the waiter and he brought another one which was better. Atmosphere: there were 3-4 groups of more than 10 people. Our server Denis never smiles and it's not the first time we've seen him. I ordered 1 glass of wine and it took about half an hour to receive it and I got it at the same time as my meal. Disappointed. We also ordered ribs and fries and I informed the waiter that I wanted to bring back the rest, namely a portion of ribs and fries, and when he gave us the small box there was only the rest of the ribs, the We notified him and he gave us another small box with fries. Disappointed with the service. If I go back I'll make sure I'm not in his section.

Wasn't satisfied with the tower very disappointed. Shrimp had no flavor .calamari were so hard they served the 2 plates without tower ...they ran out of towers
When I saw this tower on social media it looked amazing
For 90$ not worth it
