Over all not very impressed at all the food was very average nothing fantastic especially for the price. The service took one hour for us to get our ceasar salad which is honestly very easy to make. And I asked for a refill of water and never got it. The drinks were also average tasted more like water than anything else. When I tried to go to the bathroom I had to pass across two rooms received for parties where it was basically impossible to get across everybody

Short drive from Montreal. Great food, friendly staff (everyone spoke ENGLISH!! every time I switched to English). Great views over the river, very relaxing atmosphere great way to spend an afternoon/evening.

The waitress dropped my plate on the table, picked up the scattered contents and served it to me.
Angry when I asked her for a new plate…
Afterwards, my ribs were very ordinary...

Beautiful terrace and friendly welcome. Fast and courteous service. We came for a light dinner around 2 p.m. on a Saturday. Not too busy.

Beautiful place and what can we say about the terrace with a view of Mont St-Hilaire ? Even with an autumn temperature, we took advantage of the terrace thanks to the terrace heater. Very good service and great time ?

Is it me or are the restaurant prices exorbitant?
Ate a poutine, frozen fries, tiny cheese seeds, gravy and a glass of beer. $40 taxes and tip included. And so ordinary. As the friend who accompanied me said, we pay for the river view....

The food is OK but people come there because of the summer vibe. Very nice terrace with an amazing view on the river

Janick terrace version at the back. Beautiful spot near the river. Big win for the place.

Staff doesn't bother to go see the customers to see if everything is to their liking... even after 30 minutes - but chats for fifteen minutes with an acquaintance - dude, are you on the job?! And the guys in the kitchen seem 'high' and have lost the order form. Waiting for nothing, lunch time has passed. Anything.

The server was kind enough to offer repairs (hence the 2 stars for the service) but too little too late. A staff (the entire team was rubbish) that really does its job would have avoided this.

Ready to believe that it was a one-off staff problem. No rush to go back.

On its website and on the phone it is announced that this restaurant is open on Tuesday lunchtime… we go there to meet friends Surprise it’s closed. We were really disappointed. Please clarify the situation for your next customers!

Located on the main promenade next to the city center which offers great views of the mountain and river. Large two-level terrace and internal restaurant with two bars. Fast and friendly staff and very fast serving food. The food is ordinary, the portions are large but nothing super interesting, the bar is more varied and in my opinion this place is more suitable for drinking hot drinks and watching the wonderful scenery of amazing nature.

The non-existent welcome when we arrived should have alerted us... A shameful quality/price ratio! The tartare seemed cooked because it was so ready in advance and the croutons were stale: 0 on the crunchiness scale. The accompanying salad was the same as the one served with the duck (costing $26 ?).
To top it off, we wanted extra goat cheese which they no longer had (but which they made us pay for!!!) and a beer on the menu which was ultimately not available.
Only positive point: the location and the riverside.
We should have trusted the other reviews: no reason to pay so much for such tasteless food.
In short, the lacrosse restaurant is a little hard to digest!

Very beautiful view of the river and the mountain, nice servers, food was good too, I ordered the Penne with Italian sausages, didn’t take too long to be ready. Nice experience overall, recommended!

Disappointing! Don't listen to instagram inflenceres! It took them 45 mins to prepare our food and while we were waiting for the food there were hundred bees coming aound the tables and treated us well! The food was ok but on the pricey side and low portion. Their default tip is 18%. The manager was not welcoming but the waitresses were nice!
