“I bought the brownie cheesecake, I bought it at Mamie Clafoutis in Marche 440 laval. The cake was very good, but my house might have been very warm, the cake was more like a soft serve ice cream, instead of cheesecake consistency. So did not stay together when I cut it. The cake was eaten anyway, after I put it back in the freezer, it stayed together very well, and was delicious. The owner offered me another cake on them. Seeing how much the owner cared about her product and offered me a cake on the house, I changed my star rating overall. It's nice to have the owner contact you and try and rectify the problem. I do not go to Laval often, I did not write the review in hopes of getting a free cake. I will continue to buy her products, as I have often in the past. Everything that was bought there was very good.“

“I discovered this bakery while visiting the neighborhood. Staff were friendly and solicitous, proactively offering samples of new items. It reminded me of bakeries that were common back in the day, e.g. Cantors, Richstone.Apple turnovers were good, with a chunky fruit filling that was not too sweet. The cheese Danish and bagels has a decent ratio of filling to dough, but the best, in my opinion, were the cinnamon Danish and croissants. They had a chewy texture that I really love, and when heated in an oven for a few minutes, the sugar coating became crisp, making them taste even that much better. Prices were very good in comparison to traditional French style bakeries whose prices have risen significantly since the pandemic.“

I was entitled to taste a Lahnajoun for free.Spicy or not, it's the closest to the real deal. It's pure minced beef meat. There are some other varieties of Armenian cuisine specialties. While paying at the cash, it started pouring outside. My daughter and I mentioned it and the cashier said "Don't worry. Someone can walk you to your car with an umbrella."
