Beautiful hotel on the seaside!
Nice welcome and very nice restaurant on site in the morning with a view of the sea.

The room with sea view was clean and lovely comfortable bed, but small we were tight.
The bathroom was the big downside. Very small, lack of towels, slippery bathtub, noisy pipes and sticky floor.
The street side room was larger and perhaps renovated.

For a Riotel you are sure to be surprised at this level but these are old restored buildings which bring their charm and their history.

Bfff!!!
More than 200 dollars for a sea view in a hotel which smells of frying in the corridors, on the common balcony and in the rooms (bathroom WC without ventilation), with the noise of the kitchen hood and the footsteps of customers on your head!! . Really not great! Luckily the bed is good and the room is clean!!

We had an exceptional stay at the Riotel Bonaventure! The view of the landscape was breathtaking. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. But what really made the difference was the quality of service, especially thanks to the receptionist, Ms. Suzelle, who was incredibly kind and professional. His warm welcome and valuable advice made our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel for its setting, comfort and exceptional staff. 5/5 stars!

Good service at the frondesk.

Room kind of small, quaint, clean. Harley any amenities,
no elevator, it is not a 100% sound proof.

Pricey for what you get.

You can smell food in the hallway and the room because of the restaurant on the main floor.

Good view of the bay.

Rooms: Small.
Quaint
Clean

Very clean room with comfortable beds. Spectacular location with the sea located very close to our room balcony. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was magical and what about the sunsets! Only one small downside: the balcony and the stairs are a little slippery when it rains.

The room was ok.
On the other hand, quite noisy. We sleep on the road.
The bathroom, a little rough with a tiny shower.

Beautiful hotel on the waterfront. Good room... when you have a view of the water you have a door to go onto a large balcony to enjoy the outside.

Air conditioning that doesn't work, ants in the room and absolutely no soundproofing. Beautiful view and building with potential but in decay. Lack of maintenance in general. Price much too high for what it is in the end (most expensive room of our trip but the worst). We had 2 nights and left for another hotel for the second night because we didn't want to stay in this room being hot, hearing people above walking and sleeping among the ants.

This hotel was very, very overpriced for what we got. Given the price, I expected a private balcony and many amenities. Rather, what we got was a very small room, with an tv and one chair. Although we had a balcony, it was not private, and worst of all, very bright lights came on at sunset and stayed on all night, meaning we could not enjoy our view of the bay and maintain privacy because we had to close the drapes. Same thing in the morning. Other than the comfortable bed, there were no amenities: no gym, no water, tea or coffee at the entrance, no breakfast, no comfortable lounge or pool, no towels to go swimming…just nothing but a small coffee machine in the room. The “beach” is not an added feature. Despite the city allowing fires on the beach, the hotel does not permit it, so there was really no benefit to paying more to be in this location, which had been somewhat upgraded, but continues to look and feel old. Front desk staff were not helpful and answered questions with some judgement rather than being helpful. No one asked how our stay was- likely don’t care.
