We were received by the friendliest person at reception. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The room was lovely, well-decorated, and spacious. The view from the balcony was fantastic and we loved the view and the deck experience. The only downfall was the folks smoking beside us outside and it all blowing our way. The restaurant was fantastic, both food and service. Excellent and delicious. Would definitely stay here once again.

Located at perfect place. If you are lucky you can see Sunset from the room balcony. Kids can play in private beach. Rooms are neat and clean. Good restaurant inside the hotel.

We were staying ine night at the Riotel Bonaventure and opted for dinner at the hotel restaurant (Kano). We enjoyed the fish and chips and salmon tartar and service was fast and friendly. White wine was good and reasonably priced and our server Azalee did a good job serving the table. Handy spot, good food and reasonably priced wine for a stay in Bonaventure. As a bonus there was an Acadian festival across the street from our hotel and an interesting Acadian museum.

No hot water until called to have problem fixed. When problem fixed, wasn't told as phone ringer did not work when receptionist called us to tell us. Sound proofing in room POOR - could clearly hear people walking around above us & a lot of noise from all night paving project on road in front of hotel. Service, quality of food and cost in restaurant POOR - prices high (in comparison to other restaurants we ate in during week in Gaspe) and food not great. Bathroom smallest we have ever encountered in many years of lengthy travels. View from balcony lovely but cheap plastic chairs & no table provided. Property and staff all need significant improvement.

Despite nice scenery , the cleaning and the rooms are below average and the worse is the rooms sound proof. You don't hear only the toilet flashing from different rooms or every step of the person in the room above but you clearly hear any conversations from the rooms around you. If is this a part of Gaspe tourism , I can say I'm very disappointed.

If you stay here, make sure you get a second floor room facing the ocean. Ours faced the street which rendered the balcony useless. Without the view we were left with a very small basic room. The bathroom was tiny with a pedestal sink and nowhere to put anything ! Not much of a beach but there is a walkway along the water which was very nice. We tried to eat at Cafe Acadian down the road, but hadn’t realized we needed a reservation. (On a Wednesday night!!). We then had to eat at the restaurant at the hotel which was pretty good with a nice view.
