“The restaurant was not full what so ever. We arrived at 5Pm, so prior to peek hour. Our server, no matter how sweet she was, was very frustrating: messing up orders, forgetting to bring water, ketchup, apps. She first argued with our daughter that she did order the spaghetti then when we reminded her of the conversation we had during the order she said « I'm sorry sweetie, I am wrong ». Though she admits her fault, she argued with a 10 year old first...... We were even charged for an item we didn't order and were overcharged for a menu item so be sure to check your bill! Though I usually love East Side, the food was rather passable that night, the chicken was overcooked and the sauce carelessly thrown on the pasta looking like a bottled red swamp mess. I had booked for my son's birthday. The server came and brought us our bill before even asking us if we wanted anything else or if we were finished, and when I asked if my son could get a piece of cake as usually she said « well, you didn't tell me, I am not supposed to know ! ».... It was like we had to argue just to get basic service.... Very frustrating experience overall.“

But service was a little slow. The other day we came back to Mikes, and ordered various pasta. My spaghetti Bolognese was very good, and plentiful - I had the dinner size. I can confirm that the owner is extremely honest and care about his customers. Those who call to complain and disrespect us on the phone about prices changes and making false accusations when they still have 2020/2021 menu is ridiculous.
