Overpriced. Poor and late service.

Terrible service: no utensils (had to ask for them), forgot half the order, and never bothered to follow up with us, among other things... Might have been a fluke service, but service counts for a lot.
Food was good, atmosphere good.

Great food and vibe. Service is polite but inattentive.

Surprise visit, well worth it

We arrived for dinner on a weekday evening without a reservation. This was not our first visit to this restaurant.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very young hostess. Unfortunately, the welcome was far from warm. From the moment she looked at us, we felt as though we were being judged rather than welcomed as guests.

We politely requested a table on the patio if one was available. Although we did not have a reservation, the restaurant appeared to be less than half full. The hostess returned to her podium and seemed to take an unusually long time before informing us that she needed to speak with a manager.

A tall young woman with broad shoulders, who appeared to be the manager, then approached us. From the moment she arrived, she seemed visibly annoyed. It quickly became apparent that the issue was our service dog, a very small breed.

For context, this is a certified service dog that is fully trained to detect and respond to my medical condition. We always carry all the required documentation to ensure lawful access to public establishments.

As soon as the manager approached, she had a grin on her face that gave the impression she was looking forward to denying us entry. When I presented some of the documentation, she took it abruptly and immediately began questioning its validity. She then started asking personal questions regarding why I required a service animal, including inquiries about my medical condition.

I informed her that questions regarding the nature of a person’s disability or medical condition are inappropriate and, in many cases, not permitted. I also explained that we had visited two other restaurants within the same chain and had never encountered any issues.

Throughout the interaction, her demeanor was rude, confrontational, and highly unprofessional. Despite this, I made a conscious effort to de-escalate the situation and keep the conversation respectful.

Eventually, she appeared to calm down and agreed to seat us. However, her attitude remained cold and dismissive. I genuinely tried to change the tone of the interaction and make it clear that we were simply there to enjoy a meal, not to create problems, but she remained unfriendly. Even as she walked past our table several times during the evening, she never acknowledged us.

Fortunately, our server was a pleasant young man who provided attentive and professional service. His efforts significantly improved what had otherwise begun as a very disappointing experience.

While the meal itself was acceptable and the service from our waiter was appreciated, the treatment we received upon arrival was disappointing and left a lasting negative impression. No guest should feel unwelcome simply because they are accompanied by a legitimate service animal.

Likes : atmosphere and friendly service
Dislikes : we had the Easter meal for two and the crab omelette, both were very bland. No kids menu, my son had croissant and fruit bowl side.
Great for family group
Notes : We asked for my son's croissant before the group meal, it took more than 15mins to get it. The 35$ crab omelette had about 15ml of crab.

Great food and yummy drinks ! For a busy Sunday, we were taken care of well by Noémie and Yasmine. The eggs Benedict was good, I prefer more yolk, the potato’s weren’t my favorite. The Irish coffee and late were very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and spacious, didn’t feel too crowded even though it was busy. It’s a nice spot to grab a bit with good company.

This café-restaurant is a really nice place to spend time. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with attractive décor that immediately makes you feel comfortable. It’s a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff are polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

The hot chocolate and cheesecake are highlights, both are high quality, not overly sweet, and clearly made with care. Prices are reasonable and feel fair for the quality you get.

Overall, a great place and highly recommended.

While in the neighbourhood, we decided to try this spot, as the photos looked promising. The staff and atmosphere were great—very welcoming and pleasant. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to our expectations.

The pancake (if you can call it that) that came with the assiette du café looked and felt like it had come straight from the freezer and was simply reheated—I wish I had taken a photo to share. My wife had the chicken waffles with berries. The chicken was slightly warm and the fruit was fresh, but the waffles tasted like they came from a box of Eggos.

Overall, the service and ambiance were on point, though the food from the choices we made was mediocre. Perhaps other dishes are better. On the bright side, the cappuccino, latte, and orange juice were all excellent.
