Based on the reviews, Sushi Sama offers good quality sushi for a takeout counter. The sushi is always fresh, made to order, and the portions are generous. The ratio of actual fish to rice is far above any chain style sushi counter. The 100 pieces platter has a very good variety, and there is a diversity of choices including poke bowls, Valentine's plateau, and special rolls with lobster, spider crab, eel, and scallop. The food is pretty tasty with fresh ingredients and decent cuts. The homemade soya sauce has a great flavour of umami and a great balance of saltiness and sweetness. The price is pretty affordable. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. For an efficient pickup, calling and ordering in advance is suggested. The Two for One deal on Chicken Katsu Poke bowls is a favorite discount.
