“We recently had a large corporate function and hired FoodWorks to cater the event. Tim was incredibly helpful right from the first communication and was able to adapt to our ever changing needs (and budget) from beginning to end. The plan was to get the food delivered while the main part of the event was under way. Tim and crew were able to come in, silently deploy the food and refreshments, and make their way out without anyone being the wiser! It was so smooth that barely anyone noticed. Tim and his crew were kind, courteous, and very professional. It all proceeded like clockwork! We're already planning to use FoodWorks for next year's event and would highly recommend them for any function requiring catering.“

“Consistently high quality gourmet products including delicious fresh or frozen take-home options for every meal. Rotating seasonal selections and a core base of favourite classics (like Pumpkin Pie & Carrot Cake) done classically as well as with a twist (like a ginger snap crust for Pumpkin Pie or a maple cream cheese icing on the Carrot Cake). Don’t miss their wickedly delicious Nanaimo and Peanut Butter squares!
Wheelchair accessibility: Limited number of dine-in seats; virtually all are wheelchair-accessible on a single storey with small ramp at front entrance. Numerous Vegan and Gluten-free options in every food category. Street parking is scarce but usually available within a block of the Wellington location.“

“I have used Goodies for decades and they continue to do fine catering. I was a bit worried when ownership changed but all is good. I hosted a shower last weekend and lo and behold Conrad did the delivery. Instructions were clear, food excellent and all those little details (like providing the lighter for heating the serving dishes) were attended too. It is reasonable, friendly and efficient.“

“I LOVE ordering from Mazzola! The meals are always fresh, delicious and way better than anything you find in the frozen section at the grocery store! Ths customer service and delivery is always friendly and efficient. On top of all that they provide children in need with meals through their Hungry to Help Foundation. I recommend the steak strips and rice, Moroccan couscous and the vegetarian shepherds pie!“

“If you have an appointment at the Riverside or if you stop to get a Tim Hortons, take it from a foodie freak, just WALK on BY the Tim Hortons and all the way to the back of the hospital all the way down in the basement and your gonna find the most FANTASTIC lunch counter and fabulous food you ever ate at excellent prices.I am not kidding this place is a hidden GEM if you haven't eaten there you just HAVE to. “We like to go there for lunch with our team. They have 3 - 4 types of soups every day, seasonal fruits with cottage cheese, several types of meet and salads. The building has two accessible entrance - one from Isabella drive with parking, another from O'Connor with street parking. The staff is very friendly and always treat you well and willing to help. The people who work in the building are lucky to have the restaurant on their premises. #casual #accessible #freshlunch“
“We will forever be looking for reasons to hire Essence for catering again. Jason and Tanya and their team catered our (COVID) wedding, and we cannot stop gushing over the experience of working with them, nor have we fully stopped salivating over the memory of the food. Following our first call and brief consult with Jason, he came up with a menu that so perfectly fit our tastes and reflected the style of our wedding that we had almost no choice but to tell them yes! Their experience in this industry shines through in their interactions during planning. While they were always receptive to our requests, they also did not hesitate to provide suggestions not only for the food but for the schedule and flow of the event entirely. When COVID restrictions threw a wrench into our plans, Jason and Tanya suggested a way to tweak the menu and the courses, which definitely made a difference in our guests' positive experience. Their staff were lovely and professional. They were also quickly able to accommodate when our Grandparents unexpectedly decided that they wanted to stick around past the ceremony, and even made us our favorite cocktail as a late night treat (Tanya, when you appeared with a second one for us on the dance floor I could have hugged you). They are true professionals and we felt zero worry placing our trust in them for both the menu and logistics. And the food was fantastic- we've had lots of positive feedback from our guests both on the quality and the uniqueness (without being off-putting for the pickier eaters among our guests) of the menu. We felt the price was (very!) fair for the quality of the food, the creativity, intricacy and labour behind the small plates courses and for their attentiveness and care during planning. If you’re looking for a wedding (or event) food experience that is elevated beyond the standard fare, look no further. Thank you Jason and Tanya for everything that you did to make sure that the food service was not on our list of stresses and for making our wedding day so memorable!“

I just had some oral surgery done and I’m limited in what I can eat. One of the service team members was kind of enough to prepare me a small container of mashed potatoes in advance of them being out on the hot bar. Not only were they absolutely delicious - they were perfect for my circumstances. I can’t thank the kind woman who aided me enough!“
