Nasty and expensive

Jason Smith

The food is good but the portion sizes do not justify the high price. The rice was also extra. What cost $60 should cost $45-50.

I ordered Chicken Tikka for take out and they forgot to include the sauce. I assume this from growing pains... will give them another try sometime...

Was very disappointed, was first time ordering from them. Butter chicken was ok but wasn't packed properly and ended up mostly on me when I picked up the bag from my car and hadn't realized the container inside paper bag wasn't sealed. Ruined my clothes...
Naan bread was commercial thick and not what we expected from a restaurant, couldn't eat it. Mango Lassie me and husband both took a first sip and hated it, threw it away. All in all, we were excited to have an Indian food restaurant in Aylmer but was expensive for what we had and not to our expectations.

The butter chicken was watery and dull. Naan bread was not traditional naan, it was defrosted supermarket flatbread. Service was lacking, and the overall feel of the place is not fitting to the style of food served. Quite expensive as well considering the quality and no rice comes with it. Will not go back or recommend.

Good Indian curries, reasonable prices. The samosas were a little disappointing (small, smooth, pale paste). Service in English only when I went, but they had just opened and it was the owner, to be reconfirmed when they have employees.

A great discovery in Aylmer! Lots of interesting food choices. I tried the samosas and they were delicious! The service is only in English. However, I recommend it to all those curious about Indian cuisine, you are in the right place!

I ordered online at 7:00 p.m. for pickup on site at 7:45 p.m. I arrived at 7:55 p.m. to take my order. 10 minutes later I was told that unfortunately the order had not been transmitted to the kitchen and therefore the dishes had not been prepared… it is very frustrating… and I did not have 20 minutes of no more waiting on site. So I left empty-handed. For a long time I have regretted that there was no Indian restaurant in Aylmer. Now that there is finally one, let's say that the first
experience was very disappointing!

Easy to order online for pick up. Delicious food and seems homemade. Good portion, had enough for a dinner and lunch the next day. We are lucky to have you in Aylmer!

We went as a group of four on a Friday evening. The service was not great. Communication in French with the staff (waitresses in particular) was difficult and it took a long time before we received our dishes.

Additionally, the portions were not very generous, meaning each dish had a lot of sauce, but few "solids" (I'm thinking of saag paneer among others). The quality of the food was good though, but not as tasty as authentic Indian cuisine in our opinion.

It's a shame to have paid so much for a disappointing experience. We were excited to see a new Indian restaurant in Aylmer, but now that we've tried it, we don't plan on going back.
