La Cigale is a true gem in the heart of Chelsea. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels whimsical and inviting. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully designed, with flowers in full bloom that make the whole experience feel like a garden escape. Even the lineup is enjoyable — shaded under a pergola adorned with local plants, it never feels like a chore. The staff keeps things moving quickly and with a smile.

Every summer, we make a point to visit La Cigale in Gatineau with family and friends—it’s one of our favorite spots. The vibrant garden setting, colorful flowers, and plenty of seating create a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy. There are fun activities for kids, and the ice cream is incredibly delicious with a wide variety of flavors, all reasonably priced. It's a charming place that never disappoints!

Very popular icecream place for cups and waffle. Plenty of seating and board games while we enjoy our icecream. Free 30min parking but you need to register online. Extra 60min after you endorse parking with your purchase. Icecream is tasty and good.
