One night I was craving a shawarma dish, but sadly most shawarma places have a really high level of crossed contact for wheat, since I'm allergic, it's not recommended at all.
I decided to call and ask if they could do something for me.
OMG, I was treated like a queen ?, one of the cook, washed everything he needed, use an area he also previously washed, and told the other cook not to touch my plate.
He prepared everything himself, took the time to explain to me what was safe and what was not. When I got home and started to eat, I was highly emotional, because I haven't had the chance to eat Shawarma in more than 20 years.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a good shawarma. I also recommend it, because of the staff, they took good care of me, and made sure I had a great experience, same as their regular customers.
BTW - the day I went, I chose a time when they were not in a big rush.

Fantastic food and service. Nice flavours, juicy never dry meat, ample portions of everything in the sandwich (no skimping on the meat) served up fast and friendly. Always make a stop when anywhere near Wakefield.

This gem of a shawarma restaurant is a delicious treat. The star of the show? Their garlic potatoes. We come back specifically for them. They also have generous portions.
With two tables inside, on nice days they also have an outdoor picnic table. The friendly staff and plentiful menu make this restaurant well worth any wait. A true local treasure for shawarma aficionados.
