I went to Pigeon's with two friends before a baroque concert at Redpath Hall inside McGill University campus. The choice was perfect. A short walk to the concert hall. Quick and pleasant service and light fares ; exactly what we had in mind. The food was good and well presented. The place was not busy at that time of the day (18:00), so the noise level was excellent. Recommended.

Great tasting fresh and flavourful sandwich with great coffee! Had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich.

The food is good but plates aren't quite generous. Service is okay, you need to be on the look out for waiters if you want water or ask for the bill. It's still a great deal for the quality of the food and ambiance.

Restaurant turned down our reservation at the door. Failed to notify us of a private event when we reserved 6 hours in advance. They said we could have 30 minutes to dine then we would have to leave. Terrible experience.

We asked what their recommendations are and were told their lox dishes are what they are known for, but also their Mediterranean toast is really good. And so we proceeded to order their recommendations, plus a mimosa and an iced espresso drink. And I'm so glad we did! The Mediterranean toast was an explosion of texture and flavours with their avocado spread, goat cheese, greens, chickpeas, radish and more! The smoked salmon toast with a poached egg was also delish, although the egg was a bit overcooked. The mimosa was made with freshly squeezed orange juice (at least I think it is). The interior is cute, very tropical with trees inside. I give Pigeon Cafe a thumbs up and it will be on rotation when in Montreal!

The presentation and atmosphere of the cafe were great, but the taste wasn't quite up to par, so I couldn't finish everything. I was a bit disappointed.

Really poor service and food quality was not worth the price. Decor is very nice. Our server did not check on us at all and had to flag someone over every time we needed something and had to get up to ask for the bill. Would not recommend

Even with a reservation, we were ignored at the door for a while. The place was not crowded but it took a very long time to get someone to take our order, for the food to come and then to get the bill. When the food finally came, it was incomplete and missing ingredients. Not worth the price.

The two female servers working on Saturday morning did not appear to be interested. Our food was called, told them about it, they did nothing, and still proceeded to charge for the meal. Do not recommend

Mother's dat reservation booked the night before at 8pm. Our 1:15pm reservation was waiting for us when we arrived, greeted with a smile! Hostess was amazing and helped us with our order. Service was top notch and the food was fresh, hot and savory. The complementary fruit dish for mother's day was a nice and thoughtful touch. Coffee ☕️... well, let's just say it lived up to its name. This was our 2nd visit at this establishment and it didn't disappoint. See you next time!

The service was outstanding. Several of us added chicken to our meals... wish we hadn't! Chicken was extremely dry and tough. Plate of grilled vegetables was cold... so much so that grilled halloumi had hardened.

This cafe is a hot spot for McGill university students. It is always busy. You need a reservation to go there. The atmosphere is very energetic with loud music. We went there for a Sunday brunch. All food is very well prepared. The best one is their French Toast Casserole. The omelettes and and smoothes are great too. A number of freshly baked cakes and cheesecakes are worth trying. The staff is 5 star, friendly, fast, pleasant. We highly recommend this cafe for lunches.

The coffee which was why I booked was not good, pigeon coffee was supposed to be a third wave coffee shop but it's not... and the food was basic...my tomatoes were from a can which I don't mind but at least it should be cooked.

First time visiting Montréal and this restaurant. I loved how accommodating the staff were when they didn't have the drink i requested but still attempted to make something close to it and it was also tasty! That is what I call great customer service. The food came hot and ready. I surely devoured every bit! Thank you again and I cannot wait to come back! ?
