Well, well… from the outside it looked like a nice and cozy coffee shop. It was a breezy morning so we decided to have a hot drink. First time there (perhaps last one too). Hubby speaks very good French (with a little accent) so no language barriers there. He approached the counter and ordered two coffees and the lady behind the counter demanded the payment in cash ONLY (and had to be Canadian currency)! OMG! It’s the touristy downtown area and you cannot expect every single customer to have cash readily available. And they didn’t even have an ATM machine inside this little coffeeshop. Anyway, that attitude really turned us off and we left. Was it because we were just ordering coffee and nothing else or was it because she assumed we were foreigners…We don’t know and will never find out bc we’ll never go back.
good with new administration!
Ugh....
Very good service but didn't like what I had on the plate.

It's kind of self-service, and I had a quick lunch. Don't expect great cuisine but for this type of situation I think it is an excellent solution. I am very satisfied with the helpfulness of the lady who took care of me. I ate a very well-assorted sandwich and a legume soup for very little money.

Industrial croissants, the coffee is close to European standards, it is not an American coffee herbal tea

For a good breakfast, simple and fresh, with unbeatable value for money and such a warm welcome, I recommend it.

A couple of non-French speaking Americans walk in and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Great breakfast in a beautiful small town !

The room is poorly clean and the kitchen is dirty. The dishes in the room are overflowing everywhere. The pancakes did not taste good, the dough tasted burnt. Much too expensive for nothing

Disappointed with the place!! I ordered a muffin which was very good, however, the coffee came from the bottom of a coffee maker with a very ordinary taste.
I barely had time to put my two creams in my coffee when the cashier told me to put my waste in the trash……phew, hurry up, lady!! Yet there was no line behind me
Obviously all without a smile….
Too bad because I preferred to support the small café than the big Starbucks chain which is next door but hey it was my first and last time

Partitioned between shops and restaurants, hidden under the CLSC, is this small café which exudes good humor. The majority of customers are regulars and workers who stop there to start their day. The service is fast, the cook is cheerful and the food is reasonably priced. Even when asking for something that is not on her slate, she does her best to accommodate. You shouldn't expect great gastronomy (but she does her classics very well) nor impeccable cleanliness because the employee is alone. The toilets, which are shared with the indoor shops, could do with a good dose of love.
