Amazing Canadian home cooked meal. Easy to order on the iPads they have, and great service. Food came out quick and was delicious, we would definitely come back here.

Cold sausages inside. Too long to receive the invoice. The baked beans were also lukewarm. A little disappointing for a meal for two at $50 after tax and tip.

Restaurant has changed ownership. Big noisy fan in the restaurant, 5 employees for 6 customers and its Rush. The same dishes as in the past, but more expensive with cheaper ingredients. They also replaced part of the counter with a plate warmer... Sad to say, but the Mont Royal café is no longer what it used to be. At $46 for 2 plates, you might as well go to Cora or another mediocre lunch restaurant.

Depuis la vente , le nouveau restaurant n'est plus que l'ombre de ce qu'il était. Pas bon , n'est plus chaleureux, etc .Je ne viendrai plus jamais ici . Dès mon entré, et la vue de mon assiette , je trouvais ça bizarre . Et bien , plus les mêmes bonnes personnes, ni les bon déjeuner. Désolant.....Allez aux As sur saint Paul blvd . Beaucoup mieux!!!!

We recommend this cafe. Superb breakfast for our arrival in Saguenay. Simple but effective and hearty cuisine. Impeccable and fast service.
Really sad - we lost a GEM - new owner, the staff that had been there forever (who were wonderful!) are no longer there, the food isn't the same, it's such a shame. if the restaurant wants to do well it should bring back the original staff.

Incredible service! We had several dishes from the menu, not too bad but the portions were not huge and it was overcooked for our tastes but we recommend the French toast without hesitation!
