The restaurant is located in a super cozy little century-old house. The number of places is limited but that's what makes it so special. It is advisable to reserve at least one week in advance to secure a place. The cuisine is very refined and the table d'hôte is affordable. The menu is concise but varied enough to satisfy all tastes. The service is unbeatable.
Without a doubt in the top 3 of my favorite restaurants in Saguenay. The Bobovore truly lives up to its reputation.

An exceptional culinary experience where we find a true harmony of flavors from starter to dessert. We had the wild boar which was part of the dish of the day with a starter of pan-fried foie gras. The chef managed to surprise us with a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and salty flavors. As for the foie gras, it is paired with a homemade gingerbread-flavored crouton and a marmalade to add a touch of freshness to the foie gras. As for the main course, a perfect mastery of cooking wild boar which was combined with a pecan-maple sauce. The meat is pink and very tender. The chef took care to incorporate a few spices into the sauce to avoid the trap of having that dessert impression. A well-seasoned creamy mash completes the dish with its vegetables. The service is professional and attentive. The chef also takes the time to come around the room to validate the customers' experience. A gastronomic experience to repeat without hesitation!

Honestly, I've never had a similar experience. The dishes served were delicious from first to last.
The unparalleled service, I have never seen a waiter (owner) clean my tablecloth with a special brush between each meal! We have never run out of wine, the chef comes to our table to ensure that the dish and the cooking are to our liking.
