The workers are extremely rude inside the store. Trouble listening, interrupting non stop, literally saying to the costumers wait until they are done with everything and then wait for him to go to the bathroom before ordering… Okay, but I think you should know before ordering

Nice employees and my order was ready on time, but for the last two orders me and my wife have been disappointed with the taste and freshness.

Last time the sushi wasn't fresh at all and somehow oily. This time it was a little fresher but the flavor is not there.

The portions have also gotten a lot smaller. The nigiri are now the size of my thumb, and they used to add dragon eye for free since we order a lot, that is no longer the case.

I will be looking elsewhere for my next sushi craving.

A disaster! They're being pious.
In fact, they threw away almost everything.
The restaurant entrance is rather dirty and disgusting... Really very ordinary.
Never again!

Nothing fresh... $120 later.
Always the same protein, and I think they don't buy everything at Pasquier.
Ouch.

Second terrible experience at this place.

1st: Valentine's Day, order made in advance on the site with time scheduled in advance for pickup. On site, at the agreed time, the order is not ready. Overworked employees and orders pile up. I am informed, in English only, that my order will not be ready for a good two hours. I cancel the order and pick up some "Subway" next door (thanks for a great Valentine's Day!).

I tell myself it's because of Valentine's Day, I decide to give it another chance.

2nd: a Saturday for dinner. Order placed online, I am offered the time "11:00 a.m." for pickup. I arrive at the agreed time, I am informed that the restaurant opens at 11:00 a.m. and that it will be ready in 30 minutes, still only in English. I demonstrate my dissatisfaction and the employee persists with me that it is not his fault (still it is not mine, if the first order can only be ready for 11:30 a.m., do not offer 11:00 a.m. on the site!). I then ask for a refund and the employee tells me he can't, it's only his boss who can do it. I ask for the boss, he's not there. I decide to continue with the order, but we wasted 10 minutes persisting.

No respect for the customer in this establishment. No respect for their commitments. Lousy customer service. Makes no effort to speak French.

This time, for sure, I will not return to this establishment. The French language office, the MAPAQ (sticky floor, employee serves the cash register and makes the sushi, etc.) as well as consumer protection will be informed of what is happening in this business.

Avoid at all costs!!!

As good as the sushi is here, I’ve ordered here for the last time today. I am a regular here. Today, what i saw was appalling. They treat customers like crap. I understand St Valentine’s day is busy but when i see them refuse orders, screaming at customers or tell some that their orders will be ready only in one or two hours. I will buy my sushi elsewhere. Hire more people or take less orders. It’s not that complicated.

Bonne chance si vous avez commandé sur le site ou par téléphone. Service a la clientèle non existent. Les gens ici se foutent de leur clients. Je vous conseille fortement d’acheter votre sushi ailleurs. Je donnerais -5 étoiles si je pouvais

Terrible service. It happened twice that they take my order then cancelled it right before I was supposed to receive it causing me to rush to find alternative plans. They make good sushi but after spending sometimes 200$ on orders, I expect better service.

I love coming here all the other sushi Sama suck they r gross and never the same quality every time u go. But oh my god when u come here it’s the same best quality every single time it’s so amazing and delicious and these guys work so fast and r so polite. I so recommend coming here I know it may be a little out of the way but just do it yum yum every time!!!!

Repas sashimi? Cinq morceaux de goberge, 5 morceaux d'omelettes, 5 crevettes minces comme une feuille de papier, pour moi ça n'a rien à voir avec des sashimis. Saumon et thon beaucoup trop minces également. Le sashimi est une assiette de poissons crus de plusieurs sortes différentes. Saumon, thon, petoncles, oeufs de poisson etc ... J'ai carrément dépensé 35$ pour une assiette qui n'avait rien à voir avec du vrai sashimi.

Terrible Customer Service - Extremely rude and unprofesionnal.

As a regular customer who usually orders through DoorDash and Uber Eats, I decided to call Sushi Sama directly to help them avoid delivery app fees. When I tried to place a large order, the staff member rudely said "I am busy" and hung up on me. I called back to address this unprofessional behavior, only to be hung up on again!

It's ironic that while restaurants often complain about delivery app fees, they treat customers who try to order directly this way. This experience has completely turned me away from their restaurant. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants that actually appreciate their customers.
