“Honestly I wouldn't dare give 1 star because I know the value of a bad review for a small Franchise. On the other hand, I want to give a frank and constructive opinion. I was there for the first time, I had a doubt, it didn't taste too good, I gave it a second chance a few months later, the food was not edible. The color of the hot dog sausage was questionable, the onion and cabbage taste and smell peculiar like it leaves things smelling bad and that smell is absorbed into the food. The hot dogs are just not good. I advise you to review the quality of food, the way of storing (refrigeration or expiration) or even the cooking time of food etc. I will go back in a few months, I hope it will improve.“

Smiling from start to finish, despite the late hour we arrived.I have a cheese intolerance. I asked for extra bacon, but the container had a few bits of grated cheese inside. I kindly asked him if it was possible to have ends without cheese. Well, to my great surprise, she went to get slices from the bottom of the dish to be sure! First good impression.2nd good impression: Our 2 orders were perfect. No errors, no missing vegetables in our subs, well packaged.3rd good impression: We wanted to get some Orangeade Crush from the machine but there was none left. We gave her a note about it and she immediately took care of it. At some branches, at 9:30 a.m., the staff is sleeping quite a bit. But she! Really bright and helpful.In conclusion, our entire visit to this branch went well. We expected to be served by tired young people who give less effort at the end of the evening...but in the end, we received the warmest welcome in a Subway ever.Lily deserves a good little pat on the back for her work. “On October 10, 2024, I had a very special gastronomic experience in a restaurant at Carrefour Laval. At dinner time, at New York Fries at Carrefour Laval, I was treated to a large poutine named in my honor: the “Seb” poutine. In this poutine, there are (if I remember correctly): fries, cheese curds, pieces of pickles and merguez, cheese sauce and brown sauce for poutine, pieces of bacon and the all served with a fountain drink. It was a real treat!“

Imagine how much they hurting themselves with all these carbs, grease, with burnedto saturationcooking oil...? Eating this menu everyday...?In my opinion, it is the restaurants role as well to help people staying healthy. Offering healthy menu.Anyways, I put some extra stars because, as much as I criticize the fast food, I enjoy it from time to time. And, the chicken burger I took was good testing. I feel guilty...Good service. The place clean with good but standard furniture stuck in last century design, but the atmosphere, I cannot say for what reason, is not too worm. And don't make mistakes, the lady cashier is friendly, but somehow the atmosphere is not inviting: just in-eat-out!Thus is not specific to this location, but to the chain as a whole.And, as every where these days after pandemic, I find it dxcesively expensive. From 3$ for 10-12 sausages they can be purchased at the grocery, to pay 16.70$ plus tip for 2 hot dogs with some sauce, a few fries and a coke... to me seems too much.But, what can you buy with 20$ nowadays...?2 x ? !!! ?“

“Crispy and sweet fries. Hot dog is good (their coleslaw is very good!). Chicken wings are crispy outside but juicy & soft inside. Must try Italian poutine if you like tomato sauce. Poutine sauce is perfect. Other items on the menu are good as well. Service is fast. The kitchen or cooking area is clean.“

“Great service! My girlfriend went to get an order of a Poutine, two hot dogs and a chicken sandwich, but when she arrived at our house, there was a fries instead of a Poutine, which had been loaded. We called and no fuss, we were told to come back and the owner was super receptive and offered us fries and a large Poutine instead of the small initial, and that for free! Great service and according to my girlfriend, the cashier and the owner are super friendly. The only fault was that apparently one of the cooks (Costa I think) seemed to look at her a little weird. I saw that I'm not the only review that mentions it, this cook is a little suspicious...

As for the food, excellent, a very, very good, well-filled poutine and just as well-filled hot dogs!“
