The decor, food and service was excellent…our hostess/waitress Stephanie was an absolute gem and very attentive to our needs... it had been years we didn’t come and now that we did, I have no idea why it took so long. We definitely will be back soon

What a pleasant surprise
A real throwback to the 80’s and 90’s quality and value

Third time eating here in the past year (latest visit this past Sunday, July 13), and Vivian is the *best* waitress, service TOP notch! It doesn't hurt that the food was *EXCELLENT* as usual, compliments to the kitchen 😋! If I may make a recommendation to the management, perhaps have more kitchen staff available because waiting over 1 hour for our party of 13 because they had to serve a party of 50 first, is a bit long...😅 Also, I don't know if the A/C was broken but it was a bit stuffy in the restaurant as well 🥵

We took my mother in-law out for supper from her seniors residence, and we were not disappointed. Excellent service from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. And the food was just as good as the service , huge portions at decent prices . Server was constantly checking on water and refilling as needed , brought extra napkins without us even asking . We were able to bring our own wine . Great job by the staff at Le Vieux Duluth, we will be back.

I placed an order for pick up, when i went to pick up my order the FRIES were uncooked!! The rice is not fresh they just warm up it up! The owner is the worst, he has one of the worst attitudes ive ever seen! PLEASE AVOID this place & go to the LAVAL vieu duluth way better! ALSO if you place a pick up order for a specific time , they will prepare it in advance without even checking the pick up time! Food was cold, literally uncooked fries, Reheated rice! Waste of money & its the 2nd time they did the same thing!! TERRIBLE!

When my elderly parents were wanting to TIP their waiter and were questioning how to properly tip via the machine, the guy was actually impatient and rude! Go figure that one out!!!! Mediocre meal and crappy service spells never again.

Had surf and turf, was delicious and cooked to perfection (med - rare).. Staff were great, fast service as we were a large birthday party group.. Would highly recommend..

There was a time that I thought the restaurant chain was a cheap imitation of Souvlaki “Joints” that we typically avoided when wanting to dine out. No Longer. The locations are bright and airy. It helps when there is no smoking any more inside a dining establishment. The menu’s offer a really wide choice of dishes to choose from and not only Souvlaki. The staff are all pleasant and efficient and help each other at all the tables. Our waiter was able to quickly answer the questions that were asked and minor changes to the main courses we ordered were not an issue. We started with a calamari dish to share while the mains were being prepared and we all commented that it was some of the tastiest and freshest we had ever enjoyed. Not a single piece was “Rubbery” that required heavy chewing. All our mains from the Chicken Au Grilloir - Shrimp - Souvlaki & Hamburger Steak were well prepared. The sides of salad and rice as accompaniments are ample. None of us complained we didn’t have enough to eat and with these dishes priced between $19.95 - $24.95 the value is there.
