“Like I said me and my wife were anxious to try it out we finally did just to find out that I got some kind of food poisoning that lasted 4 days between me and my wife not very pleasant”

“Forgot how much I love everything at Nolah! Raw oysters were served with an amazing sauce and the scallops were cooked to perfection! Served with crispy onions and a quinoa and corn base and squash and cilantro sauce left nothing to be desired *with my bf’s green vegetables. Pricey but well worth it! Bourbon bread pudding is perfect with load of Bourbon! If you haven’t been it is worth a visit!”

“My husband and I went to eat at K-Bros and absolutely loved the food. We want to go back and try other menu items. We had boneless and bone-in sweet and spicy chicken, Bibimbap, and the rice cakes. All was delicious and the staff was great!”

But the way the hostess and manager spoke to us soo rudely after we gave an opinion about their new policy about how they couldn't seat us because 1 person was 2 mins away. Come on. Im standing their with my baby and stroller while the hostess is passing people infront of us. It takes 2 sec to seat us so that we would be no longer in the way. 2 seconds. No instead people were knocking into my baby stroller. Then to find out that they posted a paper this morning saying to abusive language or behavior would be tolerated. wow. Nobody was abusive . We were the ones treated poorly.”

“I have been here a few times and I’ve also ordered them on Ubereats and WOW. I usually get a crepe and they’re really good (lotus is my go to) and their dessert fettuccine is also amazing. I went last night and got their new Pizzokie and it blew me away! So delicious, you get to customize topping/fillings and it comes with soft serve ice cream. We got a cup of tea and it balanced out the sweetness perfectly!!The service here is amazing too, family run and they treat everyone so well to make sure your experience is amazingHighly recommend and will definitely be coming back.”

Friendly staff and excellent service on getting our orders. Not too long of a wait and food was yummy. They offer vegetarian options of you're vegetarian. They also offer a family food combo which I'd like to try next time I go !! for west islanders, they used to be located at Fairview! Support local !!”

I used to go to theCDN location whenever possible but can’t anymore with that big staircase outside I need wheelchair access these days.the roti from all of their locations is fantastic!zero I do miss going to the CDN location with the amazing reggae grooves always playing. If I’m not mistaken, they used to have live reggae bandringing playing all the timebackin they day when I used to frequent back in the day in the 90’s”

Service was excellent - patient (getting a group to order can sometimes be like herding cats :-)), friendly, accommodating with regard to extras and modifications. Everyone was happy with their meals which all arrived at the same time, and almost everyone went home with leftovers, even those who had ordered "only" appetizers - they are huge! I would have given five stars for the food, if the dessert selection was more diverse. There were ten different kinds of (cheese) cake and some ice cream, and I would love to see more variety. Otherwise an overall excellent experience at very decent prices.”

We got seated, the tables are very close together but it wasn’t uncomfortable.The waiter was very friendly but not overly. In other words the pasta isn’t made fresh and the sauces are standard. The crouton in the Caesar were bad, oily and not edible. But everything else was pretty good. “Ordered lunch from them today. It was my first time trying their food and all I can say is wow! It was amazing! We ordered the butter chicken combo plate and the lamb curry combo plate. Both combos came with rice, excellent roast potatoes with a delicious red sauce on it, a cold crisp salad and the fluffiest naan bread ever. The chicken was very tender as was the lamb. We also ordered veggie pakoras which were to die for. After we finished eating I actually called the restaurant to tell them how good the food was. Prices are very reasonable also. Will definitely be ordering from them again.”

“We've tried so many phô restaurant but still Phó Thanh Restaurant is our favorite. FYI this is not a fancy restaurant but a welcoming restaurant to spend time with your family and friends and eat good in affordable price. The taste of food they serve here is really authentic and really tasty. The servers are so hospitable mostly Mr. Ken and their cashier lady who are always with their smile ? Everytime we come at this restaurant our server always serve us with hot cup of tea which makes this restaurant authentic and the service is always fast. Plus my kids love to come back in this restaurant not only for their favorite pho but also to visit their turtles and fish in the pond?. I know sometimes the weather in the restaurant is cold but once you got your food served, you'll feel warm instantly. The only thing in this restaurant is that if you are bringing your baby or toddler they don't have changing table so you have to do it in your car or somewhere else but overall I really recommend this restaurant ❤️”

“21 years ago I went to Pizza Donini in the west island and had what I remember to be the best pizza I have ever tried in my life. I remember there was only one employee working there at the time, he was a a tall immigrant young man. I asked how is the restaurant running with one employee, he said that he was the cook, the cashier, and the delivery guy all at once. I was really amazed because he seemed like he had everything under so much control. A month later I went back to the restaurant to try that pizza and I was shocked to see that the restaurant was closed down. I was so furious at Pizza Donini for not helping the young man out , so I called head office and finally I reached the owner of Pizza Donini Peter Daros and I gave him a piece of my mind. He then told me that it wasent a decision from Pizza Donini to shut down his restaurant. It turns out that the young man had fled his country from mandatory military service and was working illegally in Canada on an expired visa. Immigration came and physically had to remove him from the kitchen. He was so dedicated he refused to comply , so they called the RCMP and it took 8 officers to be able to physically eject him from the kitchen. Mr Daros then continued the sad story by saying that when they went to that branch to close down the business, they found 71,000 dollars under a tile in the office along with a pipe.”

“Such a cute little quaint cafe. I was reading the review and they were saying the lattes and mocaccinos are smooth to drink. The oat milk latte did not disappoint. I did not expect the drink to be so smooth and rich. You get the rich flavor of the coffee but it's so smooth so you don't taste the bitterness. I also had a lavender latte once before, that was amazing. Not everyone likes lavender flavor so maybe opting for a regular latte first is better. Definitely going to be a regular stop when in the West Island. My sister also had a bubble tea and said it was really good. Very enjoyable and the staff is quite friendly. You can tell it's family owned. We always love to support small businesses.Vegetarian options: You can opt for non-dairy products for the coffees.”

“Used to be a regular here when I lived on d'Avignon but after moving to Ottawa, this is always my last stop on the way home for an excellent lunch. My go to are the marinara mussels with their outstanding fries. This time I grabbed a treat of their homemade rice pudding for my wife who wolfed it down. Had to buy 2 more to take home which didn't last long. One of Marche du l'Ouest's favorites! Graham”

Now, let me tell you, I've had my fair share of Big Macs, but this one was something else.First off, the Big Mac is like a circus in your mouth. You've got the juicy beef patties, the crunchy lettuce, the tangy pickles, and the creamy Big Mac sauce all dancing together on a sesame seed bun. It's like a flavor explosion, and I'm pretty sure I saw fireworks when I took my first bite.The only downside to the Big Mac is that it's gone too fast. One minute you're savoring every bite, and the next, you're left with nothing but a few strands of lettuce and stray sesame seeds on your plate. But hey, that just gives you an excuse to order another one, am I right?”
