I love core st Luc bbq and whenever It’s too hot to cook I’ll go for a meal there, everything is fantastic, however…
The pricing has become a little ridiculous.. for a half chicken and a salad.. it’s 33$ not including tip. I typically tip 20%.. does a half chicken and a salad deserve to cost 40$… in my opinion, it’s overpriced.
I think the owner needs to re-evaluate his pricing, especially when the economy is suffering. I could get a full rotisserie chicken for 7$ at Costco and a larger salad for 5$… these guys must be making an absolute killing.
Unfortunately, as much as I love cote st luc bbq. That will be my last time enjoying their dinners.
Côte St-Luc BBQ has been a go-to spot for me for years. There’s something about the place that brings back a real sense of nostalgia. The smell of charcoal-cooked chicken, the classic coleslaw, and those familiar fries with the perfect crisp always take me back. It reminds me of a time when takeout felt like a treat, not just a convenience.
I’ve had the chicken, the sauce, and the fries more times than I can count and they’ve never disappointed. It’s comfort food at its best. I also love the poutine. Always fresh, flavourful, and consistent. The service is friendly and welcoming, and takeout is fast and easy. The fact that they deliver across the West Island makes it even more convenient.
If you're from the area or even just passing through, this is the kind of place that feels like home.
One of the best chicken BBQ restaurant in montreal island friendly staff and also very clean you have to try club sandwich it’s incomparable with other restaurant.
Best rotisserie chicken in town with the best bbq sauce and old fashion French you have to try their coleslaw it’s remarkable.😊😊
Eew... Not going here again for sure! Gravy is stale/rancid... Had to throw it out after dipping twice. Fries are of the lowest quality possible, not worth even at half the price! 25$ for a club sandwich with fries that are more potato skins with black dots than fries...
Glad I tried this chain once finally tho :)
Edit: def to avoid! Had stomach issues all night, missed work the next day... After speaking with co-workers, everyone confirmed its the worst place to eat at, they all had a bad experience and never going again!
Expensive for the taste and quality they offer. Ordered chicken poutine and chicken dinner , taste was meh.. Quantity is generous though . Staff and atmosphere were amazing
Best chicken. Best chicken burger that i ate. Always delicious. Always consistent. 10/10
Best food! The rotisserie chicken, poutine, chicken wings, coleslaw, chicken filets.. (I can keep going but I’d just list the whole menu 🤣) are to die for! My favourite restaurant in the West Island! ❤️
Went there to try their chicken.. nothing special. Not worth the detour.
Excellent service excellent food nothing negative at all to say incredible all around

I was there for lunch and before I got my meal, I had asked the waitress to have it cooked for a few minutes longer. My friend asked hers to come crispy and that's how she got her chicken. I prefer my food hotter so therefore my request. The owner came to the table with my plate in hand and insisted that my baked potato was hot enough and he could see steam coming off it. This is nonsense, there was no steam off the chicken or baked potato and unless he put his finger into my food, how would he know how hot it was and, if, I want my food a little hotter than when served, who is he to tell me how I should eat my food. He proceeded to tell me that I have been there before and returned my food two or three times which is an out and out bold face lie. He should never have come to the table to refute my request. Very, very poor customer service on his part.
He has lost two customers and I will certainly pass this experience on to my friends who I am sure will think twice about going to Cote St. Luc BBQ ever again
First time visiting, the chicken was good, as was the service, it's also licenced for alcohol, but has not eof a cafe vibe than a restaurant Vibe... Would I go again, I'm not sure.
