Great meal, great memories. Fidd as delicious as I remembered 😋. Decor a bit tired & dated, but also very nostalgic! Server was charming and welcoming. If you love or want to try Montréal smoked meat, you won't be disappointed!

We used to come for breakfast quite often on Sundays. They recently changed the menu... Not only is the breakfast menu very limited but their prices are ridiculously high. $15.99 for 2 eggs and potatoes? $23.99 for a western omelet? We got up and left, and unfortunately won't be coming back. There's a limit to how much you can increase prices. There's a reason why the restaurant was completely empty.

Anytime is a good time at Chenoy's. Cannot say that about other restaurants. It's open 24 hours and apart from dining in you can buy sauces that are only available at the restaurant.

We have always enjoyed coming to Chenoys for decades. The jukeboxes at the tables are gone and there is a widescreen up on the wall, but aside from that it is the same Chenoys. Staff are attentive and the food is good. Check the opening hours as it is no longer open 24 hours. We went yesterday (a Friday) and it opened at 11:00. There are booths at the front and at the back section there are tables and chairs.

I had potato latkes, and they weren't what I ate about twenty years ago in that restaurant. They tasted like bread, not grated potatoes. The next day, I had a terrible stomach ache.
At the next table, the waitress was speaking a very bad French to French people who didn't speak English, and you could tell she was doing it on purpose just to annoy them.
There was practically no one in the restaurant; I think the Greek guy sold it.
