When we arrived the receptionist didn't even say hello or give me a moment; it took sometime for someone else to assist us.
BUT the urinals in the men's restroom smell bad, and one was FILTHY.
They better do something about that in order to loop successfully the experience.

First time there after all these years. I ordered take out, but the place looked really nice. A bit expensive, but food quality is worth it. What stands out it’s the service, ladies taking and handing my order were so friendly and professional —will definitely try dining-in soon. Kudos.

We haven’t been to The Pearl since 1995 but it was always so great that we’ve never had anything better. The food was amazing and was our inspiration for always finding better eateries. One day we will travel back to Montreal and revisit The Pearl.

Food is always spot on, whether you dine in or do takeout. The takeout is very well organized and packed. It doesnt just stay warm, it stays hot! Service lacks at times, especially when its very busy, but the food makes up for it. I wish they would use uber eats or another delivery platform because they could do much more business, especially in the Winter when you dont want to go out and pick up the takeout.

Amazing food. Highly recommend

I haven’t been there in years , great vibe! Plenty of parking too. The food was amazing and plenty of Vegan options. Unfortunately there’s no customization to the menu, example no sauce / less sauce or sauce on the side they won’t do it. Service was amazing our waiter took care of our party of 11.
Looking forward to my next trip and if your visiting or haven’t been there in awhile it’s worth a revisit.

I have lived in multiple countries and traveled to more than 50. This is by far my favorite restaurant that I have EVER been to. Well worth the price. We book flights with layovers in Montreal just to be able to make a stop here to eat.

Looking for your new go-to-stop in the West Island? Look no further. A classic - family favourite - that always delivers.

The ambience is nice, staff ar very helpful (we asked for vegan items and they were happy to accommodate), and very prompt service.

Have to disagree with reviews about slow service and grouchy staff. My experience was quite the opposite.

Food quantity was generous but perhaps a bit bland and not many choices of sauce. Other than that, no complaints about thr food.

Really disappointed in the service. La Perle is a West Island staple. Truly the best Chinese food you can eat in the city but the service is to be left desired. I had driven specifically from downtown to pick up food and when I arrived home, I noticed a dish was missing. A simple mistake surely, I called to advise them to get a refund for the dish or a restaurant credit. The woman on the phone sounded shocked and said they’d need to check the cameras and call back. Pretty surprised by her response considering it’s a little strange to have cameras watching their kitchen staff but I said no problem and thank you for checking. It’s now three days later, no call back and no apology from the restaurant. Really disappointed as a long time fan.

While the food was very good, the service was disappointingly slow. We had a 7:30 reservation, got seated at 7:30. However we didn't receive our first order until 8:40. We also never received our second of three requested food rounds, and ultimately left around 10:15…
