This franchise offers comforting traditional Greek fare. Their lunch menu provides excellent value for money, a generous portion including flatbread (formerly garlic bread, a bit disappointed), a choice of fries or rice, a salad, and a soft drink. Service can occasionally be slow.
I have been going to Marathons DDO forever but was really disappointed lately when we found out they changed their bread. The garlic bread was part of the experience and one of the reasons we loved to eat there. I understand change happens but this wasn't a good move. At least have it on your menu for an additional charge if you rather the old bread vs the new pita. When we expressed this to our waiter, the table next to us chimed in and said the same... Kind of disappointing...
Honestly I have been going there since the age of 12 and now I am 47. First time I'm highly disappointed. They change their garlic bread to a PITA bread ..that's a very bad move. You can't change the legend food. I'm pretty sure people loved their garlic bread and most of them use to go there to eat that b4 having their meal. First off all they change the size of the bread and now they completely replaced with PITA . I really didn't appreciate this...
