I purchased a surprise bag through the Too Good To Go app yesterday, with a scheduled pickup time today between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. I arrived punctually at 9:23 p.m., only to be told by the staff that the order had been cancelled earlier that morning. This is completely untrue, as I never received any prior message or notification about a cancellation.

What’s even more frustrating is that the cancellation email was sent to me at 9:24 p.m. — just after I arrived at the store. This clearly shows the order was cancelled on the spot, most likely in response to me showing up. This is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

This situation wasted my time and left me extremely disappointed with both the store and the platform. To make matters worse, I was told that the refund may take up to 15 days to be processed. That is absolutely unacceptable when the cancellation was not my fault. In cases like this, the refund should be immediate.

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and professionalism. As a customer, I expect a clear and timely cancellation policy. Businesses that behave this way should not be allowed to operate on Too Good To Go.

Until I see stricter oversight of participating businesses and a more responsive customer service team, I will no longer use or recommend this app.
