Sushi Sama (DDO)

Food is fresh and good. Service was quick probably because we arrived at 11:30am
We came in, the man who greeted us shared they had a lunch special. The menu priced 16pieces at 13$ but I was charged 15.50$ on the bill and was told the prices had changed. I then asked where the rebate was on the bill and he told me it was done automatically in the computer. Same thing for my tuna poke bowl. I left him over 5$ in tip before realizing and now I feel robbed.

Took forever to get my order, and missing one piece and not picking up my calls. Not pleased at all for the price.

I've bought sushi from here a few times over the year, it is always delicious and fresh. Not all sushi places let you get a full vegeterian plate so it is appreciated. The place is small, but nice and I've never had any employees that were anything other than professional and kind. However, please do fix your opening hours because I walked 30min to get to you and arrived around 11:30 and you were still closed.

Great for takeout. Order sushi by the piece or get a lunch special of 12 or 20 pieces where the chef picks the order. Much cheaper than ordering by the piece.

Misso soup tasted like a mix of soap and dirt.The sushi was bleach at best. Ginger tasted burnt.Soya sauce tasted like honeyBeen there manny times before, and this will be the last.Called to complain, person who answered said sorry. No offer nothing.Too many other great sushi places on the west island

Great vegetarian options

I order from here often as I live nearby. The food is always fresh and delicious.Unfortunately, I had a bad experience this evening with the service.I ordered via uber for delivery. But the restaurant's closing time was quickly approaching and uber had no drivers so I decided to pick up the food myself. We called the restaurant to make sure that when we got there, they would have our food. A young woman answered. During the call, I could hear an upset employee in the background asking about how long it will take us to get there. Again, it was not our fault as we ordered on uber only to find out at the last minute that they had no drivers. We rushed over as we knew the restaurant was closing.When we arrived we were greeted by a younger woman who was polite and gave us our food. However, there were 2 gentlemen visibly upset that they had to stay past closing. Arms crossed starring at us. Extremely unwelcoming. I was disappointed by the attitude I received as I have supported this restaurant since they opened.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I ORDERED MY FOOD AND IT TOOK them 1h30 min to get it!! worst place ever!

Sushi Sama is my favorite sushi place they have alot of great vegetarian sushi options
