went to try the poke bowls. ordered the sunrise. what i had was tasty & fresh but 75% lettuce which is more of s salad than s pike bowl. barely any rice or sweet potato. a definite meh.

Ordered a item from the menu, then after waiting for 10 minutes was told the item I ordered not available. Was told I had to exchange it for a item of the same price, no refund option. Was also not given the option to pay extra for a different item.
After I got my new item, I asked for extra soy sauce and was told that would be a extra charge since it was not included with my sushi roll. A very little amount of wasabi was also given.
Poor customer service. Will not be back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience! Being pregnant, I really appreciated how accommodating they were to my needs. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was spotless and made sure to leave out any raw fish. It truly made my day – 10/10!

I ordered poke bowls which they canceled because they are out of supplies. Very disapointed. The wait times are also horribly long even if you do manage to not get your order canceled. Congrats sushi shop you just lost another customer!

It's okay. Too much cucumber in the sushi rolls. The balance was off. Sweet soy sauce is a no-go. Fish was fresh. Staff very friendly.

A big order today and, arrived at home, no wasabi. I asked before leaving if they put enough wasabi , they told me yes. Very disappointed. Sushi without wasabi - not good ☹️.

I tried many sushi places around Montreal and Sushi Shop had always been consistently good. My only stop for takeout sushi. Always fresh always good. And if you need something fast they usually have pre-made platters ready to go. Last time I was served by Sydney she was very nice and helpful!

I've been to a restaurant several times and been refused service. Indeed, the last time, I arrived 50 minutes before the store closed and the lady at the cash register informed me with an arrogant attitude that the store no longer had rice to make sushi. She was waiting at the register on her phone with two orders for delivery. How is it possible to run out of rice in a sushi restaurant almost an hour before closing!

Never ordering from here again. I asked for a small dab of wasabi and some ginger to accompany my (expensive) poke bowl and was told flat out NO - "we have been too generous with this and are now cracking down". Well ..... I will not be buying ever again from Sushi Shop so you can keep your 10 cents worth of wasabi instead... plenty of other sushi places for me to order from. Aug 09, 2024 4:30 pm
