I’ve eaten at Thai Express many times over the years but never at this location. My sister and I went for supper tonight and we ordered the veg / gf pad Thai with tofu. Not only did we get just a 1/2 bowl of food, the noodles were so sticky they would not even break up. There’s was no veggies, just gross noodles and super dry over-cooked tofu. The nerve to charge $14 for 1/2 a bowl of noodles and hard tofu. My sister and I won’t ever eat at any Thai Express again.
Update: I filled out the form

Had the General Tao Chicken Bowl and there wasn’t one piece of chicken in the entire meal. Nothing but batter and rice for $20. Something has changed, use to be fantastic, never going back. ?

This Thai Express is really good at following dietary restrictions such as gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan orders. They are able to make most sauces vegan friendly.

You know when you can barely speak french or english? This, is that, here.
Super nice staff. The menu is like all other Thaï Express branches. Quiet restaurant.

"Visited Thai Express on 2024-02-05 at 10 PM expecting it to be open until 11 PM as per their website's information. Unfortunately, I found the restaurant closing and was asked to leave by the employees. This was particularly disappointing due to the discrepancy between the actual closing time and the one advertised online. It would be helpful for future customers if the restaurant could ensure their website reflects accurate operating hours."

Food is quick and good. A little expensive in my opinion but still good. I rate Atmosphere low because it's rare I see people eating there. I do pickup each time.

Went in for take out. Placed my order, asks if I want spicy, I say oh no thank you. He proceeds to talk to the chef. I get home and guess what…..food is sooooo spicy that I can not eat it. As he handed me my order before I left, he had an oddly uncomfortable grin on his face.

Not impressed. Of course its an Asian Fusion restaurant, not strictly Thai. After staring at the menu for a while I decided to go with the General Thai's Chicken (as a play on General Tso's/Dao's Chicken, a Chinese dish). Figured it was safe if unhealthy. Nope. Made to order. Really hot. Lots of food well cooked. BUT the sauce was weird. I like both Chinese (more Hunan/Szezuan) and Thai but this was neither. Obviously from the number of these chain restaurants it must be popular with Montrealers, but not this ex. Didn't enjoy the flavor at all really.
