Patisserie Fine Chez Gael

Absolutely delicious chocolate croissant and almond croissant. I also had an Americano it was perfect. What a cute spot with excellent quality products.

Worth a try. Croissant was excellent. Coffee weak and hopefully i will be served in a much more friendly manner if or when I return.

Service was very good! There were several but not a great number of pastries. $25 per person

It was my first time going here, i usually go to Non Solo Pane.

The cashier is perfectly bilingual and has a great smile. I got the ham and cheese sandwich of the day and a small bag of dutch chips. Very affordable, although, you get what you pay for, the baguette bread was a little stiff and the sandwich is quite plain and the bag of chips was expired since December 2025.

I noticed the chips was expired only when i got home, i called and the cashier said that the reason it's on special is because it's expired, there was no sign indicating it was being sold on special. She passed me over to her boss and he argued with me that he doesn't sell this item at his store, i finally managed to get a reimbursement.

I had high hopes, i wanted to come back and try their pâtisseries, but this wasn't a good first experience.

To be honest, just go to Non Solo Pane next door ..

Chez Gael. The croissant is genuinely the best I have had in Canada! Sandwiches are amazing and everything is well priced. The services was also positive. Also appreciated the easy parking out front reserved for Chez Gael. As they have lost some parking in back due to a cool winter Market.

Unfriendly staff, so so pastries. Not worth the drive or walk.

Really dislike when people touch the food with their hand without washing. Croissants were good though.

Overpriced for what it is. A small cup of filtered coffee was 4.60$ and tasted worse than Tim’s I understand it’s a small shop in a old neighborhood but you guys should relax on the prices or at least offer decent quality products

I went around 3 pm on a Friday afternoon and they had nothing left, obviously they don’t bake enough goods because they don’t want any leftovers. Most pastry shops bake a little more on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.

Awesome croissants, but service is pretty bad. The lady serving was quite rude and clearly didn’t care for our business. Didn’t speak English…no prob I switched to French right away. Wasn’t very helpful when I asked questions. Too bad because again, the croissants were pretty good, but will not be returning.

Not good, save yourself the trip. Find another patisserie

Came in for latte (which tasted like water) around lunchtime. Not a smile, not even a bonjour (forget the Hi). The clients before me and after me were greeted very nicely ??Won’t be back!
